The idea I would want to take is Travel Blogging/Vlogging I think my first step is to find how I can make my travel content interesting and different to other peoples content and maybe a meaning behind it (could be budget travel to help people on cheaper budgets) After that my second step may be to find companies and websites where I can get cheap holidays where I can easily book Third step would be to find where to post blogs and content that can reach the most people (obvious ones being tiktok and YouTube) My fourth step would be probably to earn enough of a media presence to actually start making money off of my content and not be loosing money from everywhere I travel to And my last step would be to earn enough money to start travelling to begin with I think there’s a lot I obviously have to workout but that’s what my plan would be to start a business off of one of your ideas Thanks!

Data Analytics - 2x10 point business plans br brReally, the biggest problem (like you said in your video) is one of time – not everyone has the time to go through their analytics To combat this I think there are 2 sensible ways you can go about fixing it br br1) Have a SaaS tool which “audits” your backend YouTube studio – doing things such as look for keywords and viewer click-through rate, identify when people drop out of your video and the topic you begin talking about, identify the length of video which does best as well as compare your channel to others Addons could include extra social media integration with twitter, insta etc br2) Have a team of data analysts who you ‘hire’ out to YouTubers, Social media influencers etc Basically become an agency br brThe first would be more capital intensive, but I think would be a really cool model and much easier to grow the business once you’ve finished building the tool br brSteps for business 1: br1) Identify the parameters you need/are relevant br2) Research how YouTube/other social media platforms get their data br3) Research YouTubers who already have their own in house data analysts br4) Talk to said YouTubers br5) Talk to Data Analysts (or people who may do similar things for a living) br6) Identify both of their needs/wants – how can you marry them together in a coding tool br7) Come up with a more detailed plan based on the research – plan on paper what you would want to build, what would be best, a chrome plug in, an app, website (look at socialblade for example) br8) Begin with an MVP br9) Go to investors + raise funds br10) Build a beta, launch, get feedback and continually improve br(11) Build in public so other YouTubers/influencers know you’re coming! br brSteps for business 2: br1) Identify the parameters you need/are relevant br2) Research how YouTube/other social media platforms get their data br3) Research YouTubers who already have their own in house data analysts br4) Talk to said YouTubers br5) Talk to Data Analysts (or people who may do similar things for a living) br6) Identify both of their needs/wants – how can you make a company/environment which allows for both of their needs/wants to be fulfilled br7) Ask data analysts how you can be a company which they would want to come and join – what’s their ‘why’ br8) Create an Instagram/other social media platform showing what you do br9) Begin marketing/cold emailing/networking/other ways to make people find out who you are br10) Connect your data analyst with the social media influencer – selling to your influencer telling them the analyst will make them 5k extra a month (or whatever number is reasonable) and therefore should expect 50 of that (or again, whatever is reasonable) br brBusiness 2 is probs a better business model, because its easier to market/provides more value “Turn hour of YouTube analytics into a 30 min zoom call + actionable plan” Can charge a month retainer for either to continually grow channels

Working for a digital startup at the moment, running their social media, creating content and marketing approach Have been thinking about doing this for myself (alongside the day job to start), but it would be for helping very small businesses, soletraders, etc breakout into the world of social media, promoting them, developing campaignes and running the social media pages I had thought of charging a instead of a flat fee but don't really know how that would work or how I could start What do you think?

It's YouTube for me I've had it in my ideas notebook for a too long now but I would start with CatTV type content with wildlife vistas, and expand from there brbr1 Find first location (got it)br2 Set up some feeders, drinkers, flowers to attract wildlifebr3 Buy a couple of go pros and tripodsbr4 Record a few hours over a few days / seasons / anglesbr5 Learn some basic video editing br6 Upload to YouTube br7 Repeat - different locations / time of day / landscapes br8 Cross post snippets to different channels (tiktok, reels) as ASMR br9 Grow viewership and utilise ads br10 Branch out from wildlife focused "CatTV" to other relaxing / concentration / ADHD-friendly content brbrGreat video Simon You're helping keep all our entrepreneurial cogs turning!

I would like to be the travel vlooger, i have been interested in this from a very long time, i also watch many content creators travelling to different parts of the world and that part, where you explore new culture, get a closer look to the nature, explore various terrains and x factor which travelling offers I whenever in my home town pack and go for treking to the nearest hilss, the landscape view is so amazing, also i m a photo grapher enthusiast , so that way i would also be able capture everything on my lenses
