I've been investigating the price increase as my dog ages It's really going to skyrocket past age 9 Any recommendations for a carrier with the LEAST increase as our dogs live hopefully long lives? Comment from : @Katye315 |

I paid for insurance through PAWP for my pets for over a year My little dog b**/b developed a sudden swelling in her stomach, was panting and in pain After a video chat, I was told the vet at PAWP couldnt be sure the dogs condition was an emergency She also informed me that their policy of paying up front had changed Today my dog will be euthanized due to my inability to assure pay The vet, any vet, knows a swollen abdomen is a life threatening emergency Comment from : @magnumpi28 |

My french bulldog has Trupanion he is 9 months old and I'm in California His premium is locked in at puppy rate for life $135 and it covers holistic and physical therapy if needed for recovery along with any mobility braces or carts I saved $15 because he is a service animal I have unlimited coverage and we are covered at 90, our deductible is $500 per incident or per illness, not per year If my pet has a heart condition per example, I pay $500 deductible for that condition 1x for the life of my pet and policy The policy is continuous and does not start over every year, you can't get dropped and your policy does not go up for filling a claim You can go to any vet or pet hospital and some locations get paid before you leave so you only pay your deductible, exam cost and 10 of copay Most other policies renew every year and will reassess to last years conditions and call them pre existing condition for renewal and not cover them Other insurances may be cheaper for my Frenchie but do not have unlimited coverage or illness coverage, only emergency accident coverageMost of them quoted me at $95 and they will continue to go up every years as my puppy gets older Comment from : @lizagarcia2117 |

Sponsored by a pet insurance company? Not gonna watch Thanks for disclosing up front tho Comment from : @TurnOffYourPC1 |
Hypothetically if the company sells to another and name changes, will they still cover the condition your pet had or would it be considered a pre exsisting condition? Comment from : @Just0ke |
I would also recommend looking at progressive 20$ a month, 250$ deductible, 80 unlimited coverage for my 6 year old cat Comment from : @inconvenientfacts8896 |
This might be a silly question but when you submit a claim after a vet visit, will the reimbursement include the deductible you paid let’s say if your reimbursement percentage is 100? Comment from : @yulissatroncoso9816 |
would you say PAWP is like GAP auto insurance? Comment from : @ozzielomeli4690 |

Thanks for answering my msg regarding your pet insurance video from a while ago and referring me to this updated video This was also very informative and " Pawp " sounds interesting and may be good for a pet owner of one cat which I may be soon ( maybe 2 cats but still debating that ) so I'm not sure how much coverage 1 cat may need but Pawp seems like a good option Again thanks for the info and I'll figure it out oh I also heard believe it or not ASPCA actually has very good coverage, have you heard this? My daughter wants a puppy but since Covid things been hard, getting the dog isn’t the problem but accidents and illnesses does happen smh I was know if I get a dog and I can’t pay the vet directly even with pet insurance… is there a PI that’ll pay the vet directly and I’ll pay the remaining fee Comment from : @Buttabrown |
Unfortunately Pawp isn't available everywhere I live in CO and it's not a covered state Feeling a bit heartbroken about it Hopefully they will become available here soon Comment from : @stephanielucero4072 |
So it sounds like its best to have pawp & a regular insurance in case your regular insurance doesn't cover your emergency Comment from : @resilient_abril3196 |
That's cool, but they only give you $3,000 it would be better to get care credit most vets take it Comment from : @daniellesully86 |
Thanks Franky I definitely love your videos It is very difficult to decide Maybe I will try Pawp for my 2 year old Maltese Comment from : @MariaTorres-op4ht |

I actually have Pumpkin for my 2 year old cat I have a $500 deductible (for a lower premium since he is young) I didnt have to use it for his first year But this year I had to and the claim process was fast Even though I didnt get reimbursed because it only went into the deducible, the claim took less than 2 weeks I am actually grateful I have it because he has an upcoming dental work due to an accident brbrBut thank you for the info for Pawp I might pass your video along to my friends who has older pets since older pets have a much higher premium Comment from : @sharonliao2831 |
If trupanion pays the vet directly would I also need Pawp Comment from : @copinblackwolf |
