My vet has “Wellness Packages” which are annual exams including bloodwork based on the cat’s age My cat was puny this past January and just wasn’t acting right We did a wellness panel for a 5 year old cat Everything was normal, which reassured me more than just an exam was They gave her some sub q fluids and she came around after that She goes completely mute when she doesn’t feel good She wanted to cuddle and flopped her body against me like a sick toddler She wouldn’t purr If they had sent me home without labs, I wouldn’t have been so confident of the treatment

My 5-year-old cat throws up once maybe twice every two months, mainly grass with a hairball or her dry food Is this a bad sign? She does have some months where she doesn't puke I've noticed she "hiccups" a bit, and her purring has changed a bit recently too (more harsher purring), but my vet says she fine And I got a second vet to look at her, and they said she seems fine too Could these signs be of any concern?

I love the vet making the comment about dogs or cats don't limp for no reason there has to be something wrong with them I have a mastiff and I had a little Silky Terrier, the Silky Terrier was 22 years old when she passed away, that's human years My Silky Terrier started getting arthritis at about 18 in her back legs I also have a bad hip and I limp sometimes, so the mastiff used to see me and the terrier limping around, one morning I was limping the terrier was limping and I looked over at the mastiff and she was limping, I really thought there was something wrong with her but the bugger was just limping out of Sympathy for me and the terrier so they do limp sometimes for no reason I love my dog's Have a lovely day everyone look after your fur babies and this channel is very informative I got a lot of good tips about the cherry eye I had to get the mastiffs eye operated on and now her other eye is doing the Cherry eye thing and it costs a lot to get operated on but I will pay thank you very much✌🦅

My cat is terrified of moving When it's christams, and we have all the boxes out to decorate, my cat will hide somewhere, and not come out until the boxes are put away, or he's sure he is not going to have to go to a new house It scares me that he has such bad anxiety, but I don't know how to fix it We gave him medication the didn't work, and I have tried everything to make his life as stress-free as possible, but he still gets scared It's not just when we have boxes out, that's just when it's the worst My cat is considered my child to me, and it would ruin my life if I lost him I just want him to be happy Is there any way I could help his anxiety, without using medication?

How does one distinguish between vomiting from sickness and vomiting from hairballs? Because in both cases food will be regurgitated Also you'll see cats eat plants/grass to help with vomiting

Brilliant video and a joy to watch, thanks and I have shared on Facebook It's hard at present as one of my cats has diarrhoea with blood and it's been going on since January , so about 2 1/2 months on and off I only know this as he uses the litter tray, whereas my other cat never seems to now, always goes outdoors He seems fine in himself and is about 9 yrs old He's having pro-biotic powder daily and manging to give him antibiotics with a few treats Next step is samples to go to the lab for testing Hope it's nothing bad

Cats aren't stupid One of mine kept getting of the way of a window I was starting to replace, when the window crashed down and dislocated his jaw He howled and howled and couldn't close his mouth He'd been to he vet a couple times before, so when I brought out the cat carrier box, he rushed right in, knowing (I presume) he was going to the doctor He did, and they snapped his jaw back into place and all the way home he talked to me

There was only one time where my cat showed he was in serious pain, he had a urinary blockage and he hid from me and hissed and cried a little bit Thankfully just as I was getting ready to take him to the emergency vet he peed a river and seemed to pass it It was really scary

Frequently using the littler box We have an Littermaid box, and thought it was broken because it kept turning on Nope my poor cat was running to the box every 5 minutes because he had a bladder infection For once my laziness in not wanting to clean a box every day paid off Hearing the box going off made me pay attention to my cat using it constantly
