There's definitely public transport around the eiffel tower The park it is in is surrounded by busstops and two blocks next to it there is a metro But I always just straight up walk everywhere on these city trips At least in Europe Potential for missing things is too high if you uber or metro everywhere

Eiffel Tower easily accessible by métro 6, RER C and bus 82 & 47; Don't stay near ND - too expensive, too touristy - public trans can get you there in minutes; best view for coffee is actually on the Ile St Louis at the bridge Pont St Louis; Don't waste your money on Uber or taxi - public trans is often as fast, much less expensive; absolutely correct on park behind Sacré Coeur - rarely are there any tourists there and it's quite calm; there's no point trying to add a tip to the credit card since tips are included in the bill and if you want to leave extra, just leave a couple of coins; absolutely right about "Bonjour" when you enter any restaurant or when shopping Extra tip: Plan extremely well before traveling and only attempt the most important items on your list; don't try to do too much in a day; leave time for random discoveries
