Im trying to open a account for taiwan new dollar, but I couldn’t find the taiwan new dollar account? If I transfer my local money into my Wise account, question is if I spend abroad with using wise card, the system will directly deduct my balance money with auto calculation/converted to taiwan new dollar is it?brbrExample Im spending with my wise card at Taiwan, 200new taiwan dollorbrMy wise account balance is malaysia currency Rm1000, will it auto convert/deduct (200new taiwan dollor) to Malaysia currency

I think I understand now I was told something completely different I am in Australia now I have a Japanese currency balance and Australian currency balance When I went to withdraw cash from the ANZ ATM yesterday I was expecting a prompt to say which currency do you want to withdraw the money from Instead it took the money straight out of the Australian currency balance So let's say there was not enough money in the Australian currency balance would it come out of the Japanese currency balance provided there was enough money in it? Say I am in Australia and had a USD Japanese and Singapore and Australian currency balances with WISE and I withdraw in AUD but not enough in my AUD balance would WISE always choose the best rate? So the best rate was USD so USD was chosen for the conversion

Great video So there's no benefit exchanging your NZD to other currencies? Otherwise Wise will charge you a small fee to charge it back?

Hey, I have one questionbrWhat is the difference between using a credit card from my home country (which apparantly does not charge any fees when paying directly in a foreign country) and paying with the Wise card? In my case, my own credit card would be more beneficial because it claims to not demand any additional fees or do I get it wrong?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but if you had loaded GBP into your account and paid with GBP directly instead, would you have been charged with any fees like you were when paying with the NZD and Euros in your account? Thanks

I just tested my card here in NZ, chose “credit” as per instructions (which seemed wrong as it’s supposed to be a debit card) and transaction was declined as “invalid transaction” what happened?

im also a kiwi, i have wise account already and thinking of getting a card only for when overseas, i dont like holding large amounts of money at any one time so i was just using my bank card and withdrawing reasonable amounts so as to get not as many bank fees in thailand i think it was about 220 baht bank fee regardless of the amount you took out would the wise card be a better option for me? cheers

Hi Chris, I have a question I’m living in nz but I’m going to Vietnam and Aus on holiday , I have an aud, vnd and nzd account with money only in my aud and vnd, for example if I’m in Vietnam will it be charged to my vnd account and when I’m in Australia it will charge my aud acc?

I don't quite follow I'm travelling in Sth America next year, and Europe If I am say in Peru and I have currency loaded in Sol, but NZD loaded as well, what account does it take money from? Does it automatically deduct Sol or NZD, do I have to prompt one or the other? If I withdrew money from an ATM in Peru, would it take Sol out if I had Sol loaded or NZD?
