yea, award shows are pretty entertaining, but they are pretty ridiculous too It's re-enforcing the competition type culture we are in Certain award shows or all going way back were never really a big deal and the never had award shows to begin with I think the only reason they started doing award shows is because it is big bucks for the movie companies Like the Oscars, some people will see only the movie that wins or movies that are nominated They make a lot of money that way so when you win an award, you're getting a lot more than just a piece of plastic You're getting a pay raise! lol
