Everyone who sees this comment if you’re packaging a computer WITH the gpu connected (never leave the gpu inside) make sure to use biodegradable packing peanuts instead of styrofoam packing peanuts if you do use packing peanuts (still advise against but maybe its all you have) because styrofoam is NOT ANTI-STATIC

The last time I bought a built PC, from Overclockers UK, it came with an expanding Instapak to protect the innards during shipping Brilliantly, with care, I've been able to reuse it through two subsequent house moves Great stuff

I got a computer case from my brother who got rid of its original box Does anyone have recommendations where I can find boxes tall enough for a computer without being wide and long? Or would it be okay to use boxes short boxes whose length and width can accommodate the case on its side? If I need to use multiple boxes and a lot of tape it might not be a big deal

Any feedbacks for carrying a pc with a gpu support bracket and not really removing gpu at all? It probably will be travelling with me pretty frequently I plan to get a Cooler Master ELV8 as it seems to be the most rigid one around

And this is why cooler need to come up with a way to remove the tower without needing to reapply the paste (or the whole CPU reallybrbr That way you just need to remove the GPU, Cooler/CPU, HDD and ship them in safe smaller boxes or safe in their boxes inside the box the case will go

I feel like it's best to take apart each individual part of the pc, put them back into their original boxes, and stuff each box into a larger box altogether The pc components should be more prioritized than the case itself Your pc case might get a dent, but at least the most expensive and important components are safe

Just did a 5 hour flight including a connection with my PC as checked in luggage Kept my large heatsink and GPU in and shoved the inside full bubble wrap and wedged it between the components much like in the video Worked like a treat and the PC survived just fine
