Could you recommend a watch for the people who cant swim or don't need 100m water resistance I think this group includes the vast majority of the world population! Comment from : Paul Andrews |
300 meters? Who know people who have ever been in more than 25 meters under water? watch people are funny Why don't we make them "cheetos resistant" It means just as much as 300 Meters Water Resistance Am I missing something? Who is doing all this underwater stuff? Comment from : Vicky allen |
I seem to loose my watch every few years so I wait until that happens to commemorate the next stage of my lifebrbrWhen people ask about my new watch… I just say “it felt right” 🤷♂️ 😅 Comment from : we wear the mask |
the best thing about being poor is only needing to watch the first 5 minutes Comment from : Michael Horn |

My everyday watch is my AT quartz and PRX 35mm quartz Comment from : Deez Nutz |
For me it would be new Omega seamaster professional 300, which I have a 2010 Quartz one Comment from : Ali Afsharzadeh |
Despite the price, for me the Aqua Terra is THE ONE, I do love the look and technic of this watch!!! The Aquaterra in sandstone, the Seamaster Heritage blue, the Breitling Chronomat GMT white, and a special watch like the CW Bel Canto, all scenarios and uses covered! Comment from : elamorytu |
Rolex Explorer, if it wasn't a Rolex people would think it cost £50 Comment from : TempzVevo |
I think the omega moon watch was terribly passed over at the $4K to $6K range How can you pass over that incredibly iconic watch ?brUnbelievable Comment from : Adrianni M |
Hey Teddy, I'm currently looking at a secondhand Omega aqua tera 2007 model for 26k Im just wondering what your opinion is on whether this will retain value? Im guessing a newer model would be a better bet for holding value but that's out of my budget atm Want something that will hold value incase I decide to sell up and upgrade when I can Comment from : George Mowlam |
Hey man Could you possibly do a review on the Gevril brand soon? Seems like amazing quality and value for the price!! Comment from : Isenhour Outdoors & Reviews |

I went for the 38mm Hamilton khaki field automatic on the bracelet last year as my daily do it all watch and I couldn’t be any more happier with it It’s very easy to dress it up or down just by changing straps Almost anything works with it Comment from : Ron West |
In the under 1000 I'll consider also the Seiko Sharp Edged Comment from : frankferrante |
I can't see paying 6K for a Seiko I don't care if it's grand or not so grand For that price point you may as well go Omega or entry level Rolex Comment from : TopQ |
Price point describes products that don't have a set price yet It's not interchangeable with price, despite most people using it n place of price in an attempt to sound intelligentbrbrIf you're speaking about products with a set price, you use price You only use price point when speaking about products whose price hasn't been set, yet Products about to go up for sale You use price point when determining how much to sell them for Once that number is defined, ITS NO LONGER A PRICE POINT IT'S PRICE PERIOD Comment from : J C |
I would really mention archimede klassik 200, its an amazing watch for around 1000$, its very very useful Dressy on leather, sporty on silicon/rubber/steel totaly amazing as a allrounder Comment from : Mattias Folkesson |

I was gonna pull the trigger on a sea master, ended up going with the speedmaster instead, don’t need the dive functionality, and I like the look and history of speedmaster more brbrWorks great as a daily / all around use watch love it 100m also so would qualify for this list too technically Comment from : Eios |

hey teddy can daytona panda 🐼 can be in a single watch collection Comment from : Laliteshwar Kumar Singh |
I’ve got both a PRX (chrono) and Hamilton Khaki Automatic The Hamilton is definitely more versatile for me But if I had to pick one I’d go with a Sub (IF you can get one at retail) Comment from : Jon Stroud |
Great video, Teddy! What I noticed unfortunately is that almost all the brands have risen their MSRP considerably, that Aqua Terra for 5700USD a year ago is now in Germany 6300€ instead Take care ! Comment from : Razvan Andrei |
Sinn was really an ugly watch Comment from : Abdul Basit Achakzai |
Speedmaster? Comment from : Kavy Singhal |
You’ve given us some tough choices I love the Tudor and the Omega, but I love the innovation and accuracy of the Spring Drive and the lightness of the titanium case and bracelet of the Snowflake Comment from : vrudy6 |
Seiko Alpinist SPB117 / SPB201J1 / SPB197J1 / SPB119J1 Comment from : Viktor |
I would reccomend the grey dial baby alpinist At 38 mm it fits every situation and is only $700z Comment from : John Doe |
Don't think Nomos would make a good 1 watch watch , IMO get a more durable diver or chronograph and get a Nomos for the more formal occasions , can't beat the Orion Comment from : Paul |
One of anything isn't a collection It's like saying I have a 1-computer collection, or a 1-car collection, or a 1 couch collection This is so dumb Comment from : Matt Parker |
The Nomos with Arabic numbers mixed with Roman numbers at 4 and 8 o’clock is very weird I’m not crazy about the crown placed at 3 o’clock on the Seiko one It makes the watch unbalanced in term of esthetics And I can’t stand the Milanese band on the Orient For the first price range, I think the Tissot is definitely the nicest one The Tudor would get my vote for the second category and JLC for the last one Basically, I’d would stick with Swiss watches on all cases Comment from : TB |
A happy owner of Longines conquest 43 auto sun-ray blue here I acquired my time-piece on my 20th birthday and managed to wait till the sale in that jewelry store, so that the final price with tax was around 1050 USD For that price: a good finishing, well assembled bracelet, striking water resistance and 35Hz Longines' proprietary movement The ticking sound, bracelet and dial, all that reminds me of its 'older brother' model Omega Aquaterra Aspects that not as good from design solely: large numerals irritate me and polished parts of the links could have been "wider" Thus I kinda look back for that piece because it is indeed an upgrade in every aspect excluding the price of course However, at the end of the day anyone should understand that it is an entry level option, so it doesn't have to be perfect If anyone hesitating in that price range I can definitely recommend to do this jump over Tissot/Hamilton/Certina, but things I just wrote and easily scratched highly polished parts are a warning of some kind (I know its applicable for all polished models, but seems especially relevant in terns of daily wear as everyday watch) Comment from : Anastasiy Kharadzha |
If I had to pick one, it would be the Grand Seiko That spring drive is simply amazing Comment from : Steven A |
SEIKO FTW Comment from : LandyVlad Rides |
The Tissot Gentleman looks great brAccording to some sources I've found, the Gentleman is using the C07811 (25 Jewels, regular escapement) instead of the listed C07111 (23 Jewels, synthetic escapement) movement in the video Comment from : Johannes |
Love these videos I’m venturing into the automatic watch world for the first time and love the idea of a one and done versatile watch In my budget I’m considering the SARX075 / SPB165 as I love white dials and the watch overall particularly the way it wears as it’s 393 Comment from : Andrew |
Junghans Meister Calendar is a great 1 Watch in the 2-4k Comment from : Echo Chambers |
Rolex explorer is my dream watch 🥹 Comment from : imBadman |
I wear the 214270 Rolex Explorer My everyday watch Extremely accurate Comment from : tiong Loo |
My aqua terra 38 is definitely the proper one watch collection, but it was the biggest purchase of my life and I just couldnt risk it getting banged, wet, or sand on it to wear it everyday So my everyday gada watch is the hamilton khaki auto, it can dress up and down, slim, and 100 WR Comment from : NormanG6 |
Long jean🤣 Comment from : Satoshi |
One watch isn’t a collection, it’s having A watch Comment from : RIKy4life |
About the intro thing; I've gotten my first watch (a heritage red g-shock) as a birthday gift 3 years ago, I thought "it would be cool to collect all the g-shocks from the firepack but I didn't have the funds to do so 3 years later bought my 2nd watch recently, a F-91W, and 3rd one is coming to me, a AW100S I'm looking to enlarge my collection Comment from : Grigorij Srakiwili |

One watch is one watch and not a collection? Why can’t we just use words properly? Comment from : Fabio TWK |
Given my current budget, I’d go with the Hamilton Khaki Automatic (great value for money and brand history) If money wasn’t an issue, I’d go with the Rolex Explorer (brand and value longevity) Comment from : Daniel Martínez |
1? Hmmm That sounds terrible More like 1+100 Comment from : C M |
The Longines looks better than the Tudor, it has a better movement than the Tudor and it is far more water resistant Why would anyone prefer the Tudor over that Longines? Comment from : Omar Al-Shahery |
Is one watch actually a collection? Isn't the collection a group of items? What we have here is just a good multifunction watch Comment from : Radek Pogoda |
Totally agree with you, that I wish the Aqua Terra was more brushed than polished Too blingy for me everyday I’m more of a tool watch guy Second time I watched this video, so helpful! Thank you! Comment from : Daniel Hall |
Being a watch fan i always get confused between functionality , luxury and investmentbrYes rolex , patek and all are good but in the age of smart watches like apple these luxury watches feel like a rich man investment there are only few who love it for what it isbrNo one shall compare a smartwatch to a mechanical since you cant compare a gold brick to an iphonebrBut this statement provides a space for investors who invest in watches like assets against the likes of loversbrbrMy weird non important opinion Comment from : Arnav Kathuria |
Aqua Terra is the grail watch for me Soon Comment from : Ángelito |
As someone with no history or knowledge of watches at all That Grand Seiko with the spring drive looks so cool Comment from : Mike Berry |

The longines conquest is my favorite , I’m sure I would be happy with that one Comment from : Tape Master82 |
Grand Seiko Snowflake definitely is it's beautiful, the dial is mesmerizing, spring drive is a true innovation (IF the Swiss is the one who created this, spring drive will be over the world now, unfortunately it isn't) and the 6K price with built quality that might worth over 10k in a Swiss brand watches, or more Comment from : Rian F |
If you only have 1 watch (or 1 of anything), can you really claim to have a collection? Comment from : Renko Knook |
Omega all day everyday Who’s Rolex? Comment from : P T |
If in fact the "Maestro" is not sold or listed as "Maestro" , why do watchtubers insist on recommending it by the name "Maestro"? Comment from : Jose Rafael Diaz Marrero |
Why does no one mention Baume et mercier like the Clifton? Are they doing something wrong that I'm missing? The movement in the Baume Et Mercie Clifton COSC looks insane Comment from : Max Wilks |
