I don't think that Marx was even perfect from a social analysis point of view He described the factory as a sort of groundwork for worker organization and, as Murray Bookchin put it, we'd witnessed the workers be regimented and placated by the industrial routine The factory served as a force of greater worker alienation and Marx couldn't have been more wrong about their role

Marx wasnt a really smart guy lol He wrote about socialism/communism but didnt actually mention any factually historical references to communities that might be deemed as communist So instead of looking at communities that were self sustaining, stateless, and did not operate under capitalism, he just made up shit instead So like, native tribes that existed in the past, or the starting of most states looked fairly communist, like colonial America He offers no evidence at all to back up his definition of communism brbrFurthermore, he was a college rich kid who went to school for journalism He didnt even have his first job till he was 27 He wrote about labor but he never did labor He even insisted that labor automatically creates a surplus and capitalism seeks to steal that surplus This is obviously false to anyone who has worked in labor, it clearly does not guarentee a surplus most of the time Its literally how famines happen Something Marx never mentiona Long story short, Marx didnt know shit about what he was talking about because he was absolutely not smart and also had no real world experience and he especially had no labor experiencebrbrKarl Marx is arguably the most popular influencer who offered the least to the world Its why none of his suggestions or theories have come to exist in the way he said it would He just made random shit up to seem relevant

One thing I dislike about Vaush is how he is so, almost lazily opposed, to reading theory I mean it goes for anything seek to understand better and educate yourself on That's like trying to understand philosophy without reading the essential works of those philosophers It can be adventageous to find other people's works in which they have encapsulated all the major points The problem with this is if you don't know the information straight from the source, you can't know that that second hand information is correct Now that isn't to say that those works should be seen as malicious in their inaccuracies of there are any, but nevertheless it's possible they unknowingly mischaracterized or mis represented or otherwise misinterpreted something It's best to read the work yourself, and not to view it as dogma The piint is not to read it and go, as yes this is all genius and they are totally right in all avenues and everything should be changed to reflect this The point is to simply understand where they are coming from, and how they reached their conclusions, regardless of whether or not those conclusions are right Vaush is right that many who read the source materials on things like Marxism do indeed treat it like dogma, but the existence of those people does not take away from the benefits of taking the time to read the works It just seems incredibly lazy to me
