It is very difficult to teach seniors about computers If you try to teach the actual complicated functions and details of the computer, you can easily lose them Simplifying the lesson and giving a basic ( although not perfectly accurate) lesson often results in better retention

cpu is not a box but a chipbrmonitor is not the eyes but primary output devicebrram is not part of the cpu but separate chips used as volatile memorybrgenerally misleading

Got a lil messy towards the end Flash Drive Pen Drive etc You would be quite pressed to find a 128 gb pen drive usb 30 for more than $14000 That is 100's of times more capacity than a floppy drive contains Floppy Drives are obsolete as well as mousepads Any usb mouse manufactured today has no wire and also works on most id not all surfaces Most mice today also have touch / gesture features built in Win 81 is set to release here in a month or so Windows 90 is well into devolopment

Yes but I have a friend who has had a computer for years and is still illiterate A lot has to do with the desire to learn Some people try to cut to the chase to do what they want and never take the time to learn the basics That is bad Like playing the piano without ever practicing You will never get past email if you refuse to study the computer and how it works
