Reasonable billable hours are 1800-2000 2400 billable hours isn't uncommon, but it's certainly not easily healthy Also, there's more lawyers out there than there are jobs Make sure you got an in somewhere before you go to law school

Yep 3000 hours over a 365 day year is an average of 82 hours per day 7 days a week Obviously going to work longer hours most days and less on others, but that is a lot of hours

I mean 60h/week isnt even that bad, here in sweden standard hours is 40/week in a regular job and u prob end up doing alittlw overtime so maybe u do 45-50 a week here an there brAtleast ull earn 200k+, a normal job in Sweden at 40/week ud make maybe 50-60k a year at a above average job and u pay 30+ of that in taxes if u go upwards of 100k a year ull be starting to break into the 50 tax bracket

I work in big law Not all firms require 2400 billables My firm's minimum is 1850 which is reasonable And you can commute to work or work hybrid (even remote but not recommended)
