The NBA makes enough money that the WBNA can even exist at all (because they would be operating at a loss, ALWAYS) So yeah, NBA players get to negotiate their salaries and CBA because there is A PROFIT that CAN be shared There’s a reason high schoolers play in a gym and not an arena/stadium, mainly because it costs a lot of money to employ an entire staff of people to maintain said space, and when you draw in a crowd that’s fewer people than the number of people needed to be paid to be there, it doesn’t make any sense financially to continue The NBA makes 8 Billion dollars a year, the WNBA makes 60 Million (AND COSTS 70 Million annually) 🤷🏻‍♂️
