We had a Lithia Ford jeep dodge ram and toyota dealer in our town that were scam artists brWent out of business and sold to a new company brPrices didn't get any better but hopefully they gained some integrity

I was at off lease in Broward back in April shopping for a car & they were crazy busy, though I did walk out because their prices were ridiculously marked up and the employees refused to negotiate

I worked at Off Lease Only for the last 75 years We were bought out by Cerberus in 2019 right before C-19 and that is when things started to change 534 employees, plus a contracted detail and paint/body company lost their jobs on 9/6 Extremely sad

I am looking for several used vehicles for different people Maybe the new car market is slow, but used cars still seem overpriced and continue to sell I was recently interested in a 2021 Ram Power Wagon It was about $4k overpriced I thought surely no one would buy it and it would sit for months Nope, it was gone in 2 or 3 weeks

Carmax is paying more on used cars under warranty They can skip the reconditioning and put them straight onto the lot Since they are under warranty, they don't have to worry about fronting the repairs

Can yall explain yalls car edge depreciation calculator on your site, apparently way off my 22 ram 1500 everyone is only offering 29-30k its in pristine condition yalls calculator says its still worth 94 percent of its value after one year lol, and all the car buyers are offering not even 50 percent of the msrp With only 14k miles on it not one scratch or flaw anywhere , these calculators are way off

in Texas, the state has cut all spending to protect consumers, be in insurance, vehicles, homes, and if the counties did enforce laws about restaurants, there would be little that the state did, except pay billions to patrol the border course at the rate its going, might not have electricity either course that would sort of hurt all business too

Off Lease Only typically sold vehicles that had trouble histories (Branded Titles, Salvage Vehicles, or vehicles that weren't branded or salvage, but typically had collisions on their histories) They would sell them at bokay/b competitive prices, but you could tell they sold loans, not cars, which is the problem

In many States the State Government doesn't look very much like that of prior decades Hard walls between employees and both political and private influence are long gone Erosion of things like pensions have opened revolving doors nearly as bad as those for politicians In many cases protections against this which were codified in State constitutions are now completely ignored, mainly due to politicized and up for the highest bidder State courts
