some of my best quarters came from the laundromat change machine and my liquor store guy automatically sends hubby home with a roll of pennies and my weekly Moscato Comment from : Colorado Mountain Mama |

It's important to understand that banks have strict regulations and procedures in place to prevent money laundering and ensure the safety of their customers' funds When a large sum of money is withdrawn and subsequently deposited, it may raise suspicions and trigger an investigation The purpose of this is to detect and prevent illegal activities, such as money laundering or fraud While it may seem inconvenient, these measures are in place to protect both the bank and its customers If you have any concerns or questions, it's best to reach out to your bank for clarification and guidance on their specific policies Comment from : Tiger Brown |
|
It is gambling without losing money What could go wrong? Comment from : Edward Ferrari |

Try going to your teller and asking them to help you figure out what change you need to set up some register drawers You'll get coins and bills brbrA lot of branches I've been in have coin counting machines If you have a personal account, they usually don't charge to dump a Culligan bottle of coins in Comment from : C Reese Nebeker |

Fellow coin hobby My friends, we only have so much time in a day that we're allowing ourselves along with other activities So when it takes so long to try and even get to some point, it is a waste of time Now I'm not trying to get anyone upset it's just a little corrective criticism You're blanching the line of click bait, and that's not where you want to be to grow your channel You've got to talk a little faster and get on point Keep working on it Comment from : Dearl A Dixon |
|
7 24 Yep you right , 8 mins ya right thats hunting Comment from : D P |

My bank will regularly have bank boxes of nickels dump my junk to the city hall to pay any fines they demand far from the bank I get them from They can't deny government money to pay a government fine Stores, business, and restaurants can have their own private exceptions, but not the governmentbrI don't tell my bank I'm them I'm sorting it, or maybe they know I just tell them I have a fine to pay and they can't deny government minted money brI have the Coinage Act printed from the government website ready to go for anyone giving me a hard time taking my money! I can get as many boxes of whatever I want The Valt Manager, Head Cashier, all 5 tellers and Branch Manager are all happy, friendly, even excited when I come in each week to pick up the boxes This week 1 box of quarters, Bessie Coleman D, DDO DDR on the 2 rolls I opened 2 boxes of 2023 D nickels and 4 boxes of cents, 1 ea 2023 D cents the other 3 are rerolled Opened 3 of the old cent rolls 19 were between 1914 and 1957, 55 were 1959 to 2008, 3 2009 and rest are shield With full disclosure, every week I take little gifts ei set of 8 Lewis & Clark nickels, one or two of those little jeweler's loop One week I called the day before and prepared them and had pizza delivered Each week for the remainder of the month the income from sales that I have collected I reinvest in old cent boxes as I build my hobby collecting Not going to get rich, unless I get a lottery value coin At the end of year I should have more left over than I would if I spent 40 hours a week in casino, giving money away Comment from : rd hucks |

Good morning Shaun I want to first say thank you for your helpful advice you give I enjoy watching your videos and have learned a lot I have been casually collecting graded Lincoln Cents and Jefferson Nickles for the past couple of years but planning to start branching out into older circulated raw coins for enjoyment of the hobby! Question on the American Women’s Quarter you were talking about I am interested in adding to my collection but wondering if the clad versions are worth buying over the silver proofs? I live in Canada and just started coin hunting a couple months ago I have no issues getting boxes I go to several different banks and only 1 refuses to sell them unless you're a customer I rarely return what I get to the same bank unless it's several days apart I explained to a few tellers/managers why I do It and they were genuinely interested I think I'm the only one in my area that does it though, because they were all surprised at first brThe trick is to engage them in conversation and be really nice to them Comment from : JP Bonhomme |

Mumbo jumbo isn't the case where I live I've gone into 5 banks here & none would part with a single roll of any coin bc I don't have business accounts with them & my Walmart says they don't sell rolls The only thing I could have gotten was 4 quarters for a dollar at a bank my parents have a savings account at- this is bc I live in a small town of 5000 people in NE PA now, but if I drive back to my hometown on long Island - im sure things are more accessible there I just want you to know for your own educational purposes of helping all of us, that it's not so easy getting rolls from banks everywhere in this nation, I have to drive 45 mins to get to "civilization" where banks are working with larger populations that might part with some, but that means buying more gas & spending more time searching, & that's probably not even far enough away Might have to go into NJ or back to NY just to find a chase bank as that's where I bank, and hope they will help Don't have kids but nephews need to learn about $ too, think I'll call chase & ask if they will order some Thanks again for your knowledge bud Comment from : Max F |

Thanks Shaun, Love all your info Do you need to have an account at a bank to return coins (dump bank)? I have one bank branch that will not give me boxes nor will they order them but the same bank 2 other branches will give me boxes or will order boxes of whatever I want I just don't get it? I have been dumping all my coins at the branch that will not give or order boxes for me I would like to find another dump bank but don't want to have to open an account to do that I live in a small town with no banks and have to drive a minimum of 12-15 mile to any given bank Comment from : Vince Funk |
