I left a company that matched my 401k I left to make my own business and my 401k money is still with Van guard and my Bank is asking me to move the money to them with Merrill Lynch I’m thinking I should just do this myself what would you do ? Just started trading but one thing I did was watch the videos and learn a bit of it But as an eager started I bought at the highs of high conviction stocks but bought most stocks with dividends But when the dip hit I had no money to buy at the low I was at a -$10k now I am catching up I opened up a Roth and a regular IRA Roth has my Index and ETF funds with dividends Thanks for posting bro

Understand this brother Investing in secure blue chip companys will only keep you in the same position of being comfortable Imo I'm trying to not only grow with blue chips (slow way and prolly wont get you FIRE) but I'm trying to invest my money get uncomfortable and grow exponentially from due diligence on other companys Dividends is great however looking at our world today These blue chips you rely on Will stay the same and not grow Look at the world around you and learn how to capitalize on the problems or success we have

Can you explain to me why the stock portfolio doesn't reflect the stock profits you gain from the stocks you're in?for example I have $6,900 invested and it reflects that I am up 55 overall which is around $383 dollars total gained But I've made more than $300 from the stocks im invested in Why does it not reflect those gains for example I made $500 on gme so why doesn't my portfolio show the $500 gain Please help me understand better
