As someone said below, hard to beat Bullion Exchanges except at smaller coin shops which do still exist brbrTake a look at coin spreads today (6/13/23) with spot at $2367 Here's what I found: Best spread on Maples -- buy @2967 versus a sell @2642 a spread of $325 American Silver Eagles -- America's most popular coin -- 3602 versus 3150, a spread of $452 (Spreads change too of course) brbrThe winner today was the beloved "Roo": Those living pogo-sticks went from $2852 down to just 2567, a total cost of $285 In&Out brbrShop and compare is all And don't get sucked in by the hype Widespread hype is the best reason to go the other way Comment from : Bruce Bartlow |

3:39 the buy-back spread is now (May 2023) only $2, not $4 (Just now checked their website)brI'm not surprised thoughmaples never have garnered much attention from LCS's in terms of buy-back premiums Comment from : The Tourminator |
Canadian silver maples, and British silver Britannias Those are what I'm gunning for Both are awesome looking and premiums are far less than the insane ASE premiums Comment from : The Tourminator |

And 1 important thing Apart from important safety features, no silver coin round bar or anything is backed by a government If it is really backed, why is a Maple Leaf just $5 and some coins even 1€$? Silver and gold are real money on its own The dollar is backed by the FED otherwise it would be worthless And the Euro backed by the ECB for what it's worth on the long term with a crisis comming Comment from : LennardA320 |
I would absolutely buy the cheapest one especially with multiple dollars difference if I want to maybe buy more than 100 coins Yes now the spread is the same if you sell back, but that is now the 2,50 spread on both coins Tomorrow is another day and you buy silver for the long-term, so their terms of buying back silver coins will always be different in the future So I rather buy more silver with less money than less silver with more money Investing/stacking silver is pure about how much silver you have at the end Not the ever changing bids on your coinsbrbrAnd 1 important thing Apart from important safety features, no silver coin round bar or anything is backed by a government If it is really backed, why is a Maple Leaf just $5 and some coins even 1€$? Is 1oz silver really optimal? If I get to a point where I need to sell my PMs, it's not going to be cause I need 25$ brbrIMHO (and I'm certainly not a 100k follower super stacker influencer, so take it for what it's worth) 10oz bars are my sweet spot That way I'm getting lower premiums, and trusting the metal to do well, instead of on the popularity brbrbrAnd I don't think selling by the tube is a good solution to my issue above, cause at that point you're practically selling a 25oz Canadian cylinder, essentially a round bar that you paid 25 premium for Comment from : Boris Gershman |
Maple leaves are always beautifulbr🍁 Comment from : JTBSK2 |

Using your math and the spot price goes up say $4 after spending the same amount of money on silver round as you would have on maples, you would have more profit over all Comment from : Longbeard Silver |
The Maples are nice, but in my local area, i never see them available, so must not be too popular around here However, generic and 90 silver is very popular, as well as u see bars and ASE So, unless I'm selling back online, I'd still go with rounds, bars or 90 The spread i could get on reselling rounds, 90 & bars private party (in that order) is much higher than if i sold Maples, even with the current difference as of this videobrbrNot hating on the maples, i love and own some, but it's important to recognize the strategy you need to go with for your local area and how you hope to sell them some day, if you ever do!brbrGreat info from you, as always! Comment from : Christopher Garland |
Sorry, but even with this 'sale', Kangaroos and Britannias are still a better deal than Maple Leafs I'll stack Roos and Brits all day long before I'd touch Maples at these prices Comment from : Mark Gesswein |
