I worked for goodyear in the late nineties and we sold Goodyear Cooper and Japanese Sumitomo Everyone always laughed at the Japanese Sumitomo name (due to arrogance ignorance and never been anywhere) Goodyear and Cooper had a ton of warranty problems cupping and what not and Sumitomo had none it was actually the best tire out of the three the only problem was explaining it to the locals people that haven't been anywhere The only thing I couldn't decide is which tire was bigger junk Cooper or Goodyear

Periodically spray the sidewalls and even the tread with 303 Protectant and if you can , the inside , sidewalls To keep the rubber pliable to resist drying out and cracking

I have a Rav 4 LE 2016 my AWD and my traction control lights are on This happened after my battery died in the winter because i left the lights on After charging it the lights came on I tried the fuses and i tried unplugging and plugging that battery nothing worked I heard it could be a sensor What do you think?

On a 97 blazer I got a very good deal because the Government auction site I bought it from advertised it as having a bad transmission The ignition switch had a burned contact and it cost me 300 to buy the wiring harness that was latter involved in a major recall so if the timing were right I could have had the repair done for free I saved 5,000 off of kelly retail

Never mess around with ignitions systems My 2007 Daihatsu Sirion (a Toyota brand) with 230K km only ever stranded me four times - two of which because of a stupid dealer-installed keypad-code security system In the end I had to get a guy to tear up half the dashboard and saw the screw-heads of the massive aluminum box encased system so we could disconnect it (damn anti-theft measures, they stripped the heads and half of the screws were threaded in reverse) The other two were because of the alternator going bad after 175K km and killing the battery Other than that I only ever had issues with normal wear and tear on brakes and suspensions

Cooper tires ain’t what they used to be Got a set of CS5 “Grand touring” for the old Odyssey, and there were numerous holidays and soft spots in the rubber on the tread Put a set of the CS5 “Ultra Touring” on a Mazda3 and barely got 30k out of them

No offense to Scotty's comments, but as someone who has grown up and worked in my father's car electronics shop, I can say with certainty that a professional car audio / electronic shop can install a high-quality aftermarket remote start system that is very effective in almost never fails as long as PROFESSIONALS are installing it The systems are very complicated and we pay for a special software to program the remote starters that also has guides on how to properly install them so that they are safe, secure, and do little things like flash the headlights and tail lights when you remote start it You just have to go to a professional shop that knows what they're doing and has high quality parts! So don't fear installing a remote starter on your vehicle if you know that you are going to a good shop that knows how it's done!

These wouldn't be the first Cooper light truck tires to have this problem I had it happen to one of the tires on my Ranger They were much older, put on back about 2007 This finally happened to one in 2016 The tire didn't completely fail, and I made it to a tire shop Bought a full set of new tires Problem is, Cooper is about the only company that makes the P225/70R14 to fit that truck in a light truck tire, or so I am told
