I don't get it Here where I live we don't have 401(k), we have provident funds But the idea is similar, the company matches a certain percentage you put into the fund And this has tax benefits, it can be used to reduce the tax you pay How is this not good? Can someone explain to me? Thanks

I cursed and berated a dead beat dad dying of cancer and who once had me in his will to gain a house that once belonged to his brother who was doc in LA I didn't even care about the will My sister was never liked by our father but constantly chased him especially after our uncle died in 2017 and after learning that our father had stage 4 cancer I wasn't even told anything until a number of months later My sister always tried to scheme to get more from our uncles's estate as our father only had one home for himself and VA benefits He himself schemed and pretended to be disabled for years--voila unearned income My point is I was kicked out of the will and now my sister stands to inherit the house along with a trailer that was supposed to receive anyway That house was the only way for me to invest in I'm middle aged, college educated, and young folks, I am doomed I really have nothing to live for and it's too late for me to really try to learn all these things Second point: don't be like me If you have to kiss some butt even from a dead beat father, do itor wait until that last few days before he dies
