This video was an excellent Batman history lesson I have to admit that I had heard most of the stories about Kane and Finger but never really believed them This video did such a great job that I am just saddened that what was my first artistic hero [Kane] turned out to be such a used car salesman and dishonest person The narrator was really fair and treated it with respect But it just sucks to be coming so late to the party I have a totally newfound respect for Bill Finger and all the other contributors, artists, writers, etc who never received the credit they most surely deserved

During a panel at, "THE CON", a Batman editor said that once back in the day, another editor asked Kane to redo a panel It was supposedly nothing big, but Kane wanted to take it home (to an assistant) to make the change The editor (wanting to mess with Bob) was firm that it had to be done today, right there Kane reportedly went around the office asking people if they could do the change for him The editor loved seeing Kane squirm

Everyone in the comics business knew what went on during that time It was an open secret But nobody wanted to say anything because they would be blacklisted and no one would hire them It's business all of the true creators do not get there due Stan Lee was another one He was selfish and wanted to take all of the credit from Jack Kirby Stan was great at what he did and he did create mostly all of the early Marvel character But when Kirby created the Silver Surfer Stan did not like the character or its name He thought the name was corny Right there it shows Stan's hate towards Kirby creating just one character on his own I can't stand Stan Lee and his corny phrase Excelsior
