I know I love Avatar, but just a warning, in order to prevent people from bashing the movie for its storytelling and concepts, Avatar would’ve set in a fantasy world, even as one of its inhabitants as the protagonists, so it wouldn’t alienate its audience, and if you want to make an environmental story, just don’t have humans as the invaders as try a different alien race but only more mysterious and more technologically advanced yet hostile to this planet for reasons completely ambiguous other than gathering resources It’s just a warning to James Cameron that I understand what he’s doing, but while making an environmental film based on your dreams is a good idea on paper, you need to be careful what you’re developing for your audience’s investment
