Thanks for the video I have been looking for a small flash for my M50 I was going to purchase the 270 EX II after watching but when I went to the Canon website, I ended up getting the EL-100 instead I think its feature set better fit my needs ( ie - wireless capabilities) and it was $40 less expensive Either way, this video got me to make the decision

thanks EricI shoot Nikon so bought a used sb22 for $30it's about the same size as the 270 and it also tilts up for bounce flashyou're rightthey come in handy and if you attach an inexpensive cord to get it off the camera, these little flashes can give you a whole different look !

Please do more with flash/lighting, especially off camera flash with less expensive triggers or cords I’m just starting to appreciate moving my flash off the camera handheld with a flash cord, but would love to learn more I’m looking at Godox /flashpoint/Yongnuo (2 light setup) vs add on triggers for my 430EX2 and 580 EX (original - cheap pawn shop find!) My 70D can trigger the 580 remotely but it’s complicated and help!
