This is so cool the median house price where I live in Australia is $880-900k so we need about $180k for a deposit but we can also do the 5-10 which is good thank goodness 😂

I love tracking money milestones too! One that I hit in July 2022 which I don’t think is talked enough about is INCREASING your NW by $100k Especially if you start with a lot of SL/debt, people can hit this MUCH earlier than a $100k NW and it is such a great motivator It’s like “hey I can do this! If I had been a bit kicker and life and started at 0 instead of negative, I’d be at $100k right now through my hard work” Just affirms you are on the right path :)

This is going to be exciting to see when you reach your goals! It’s so funny because I have an “F-U Emergency Fund” and actually used it last year When the panorama started last year my job was flipped completely upside down and was so stressful I couldn’t manage, so I quit in July 2020 and have been using my FU funds and having the time of my life!! It’s so liberating I just accepted a job offer last week and now the people I used to work with, will have to report to me 😎

I love hearing other people's financial goals I will also be saving a hefty deposit for a home I look forward to your video about buying a house I'd love to be Mortgage free the earliest time possible (10-15 years) when I do buy I keep hearing that it's not a great time to buy a house right now anyway

I'm with you, unlike so many people I don't want to rush and buy a home to "check it off my box" I want to do is correctly so I am taking my time and saving for 20 down payment and ensuring I have several thousands of dollars in an emergency fund Buying a home can be a curse when you are not financially prepared for it, I want home to be PEACE for me :)

Awesome goals! It will go so much faster if you just stay consistent like you have been Completely agree on the net worth I call it my "FIRE Net Worth" which is Savings + Investments versus all my Consumer Debt brYou will progress so much faster than you think! I never thought I would go from -$557k fire net worth to almost $3k today, 15 months! Mark my words your side hustles will skyrocket and you'll br surprised how fast you achieve these goals (If the stock market behaves obviously lol)

Try the M1 Finance to do your own 401K!! You could build it and get a better return than some companies give to their employees
