Beverly Hills High grad DY, has created two of the most poignant documentaries/books in the last 30 years, those being "the Prize" and "Commanding Heights" I have read both and preach their worthiness to the few Americans who could recognize his wisdom Clearly very few people, based on the paltry amount of comments here on YT, have the cognizance of the importance of his work

Dr Joseph Pratt is featured in this video He taught History at the University of Houston and was my professor for two history classes In my mind he was the best history professor of the whole department, if not the whole city, if not the whole state, if not the whole world His lecturing skills, his vast knowledge, his ability to convey that knowledge, and his approachable personality was second to none

The book shows explicitly how politicians are tight with owners of big businesses (trans-corporations, banks) Any actions of foreign politics interconnected with the future monetary gains of the current rulers and their families, which they can get from beneficiary of these actions later In democratic societies they need to pay a little attention to opinions of future voters, but it is still mostly the same world Colonialism in a new form with all heavy labor in the 3-rd world Manipulation and insider trading on markets (you can check results of US senators)
