I had to replace the first page of my dansco 70 70 album because my trime kept slipping between the cardboard pieces haha So far it's staying in place Comment from : Ty Honsowitz |

I would like to buy one of these in MS64 (they start in the $400s), but a lot of these coins have problems such as impaired luster and incomplete strike Even the CAC stickered examples can look pretty rough The good news is that if you find a nice one, a dealer may work with you on the price because such a coin might sit on the shelf for a while Lots of people like these coins, but few will pony up for an MS example Comment from : jeffw1267 |

Nother great topic and presentation I have a few of the silver and nickel ones You are right Tiny is not the word for it When I got them in the mail I had to look in the package more than twice Thought I got ripped off Nope it was there Small, but there Comment from : Edward Austin |

I am surprised they are not more popular I am going after them all the time I love the 3-cent pieces My mother has one in her collection and I thought the design was just really cool for such a small coin I have a few 3-cent nickel, but have yet to acquire a silver Trying to keep my costs down at the moment, but I am always on the lookout for a deal Love 'em Thanks for sharing Daniel!! Comment from : Shannon Smith |
Thanks for the info Daniel Comment from : David Ho |
Glad you shared that information on that series of coins Comment from : Davey Breeden |

I would like to encourage you and other coinaholics to organize a campaign to Make Commemoratives Great Again or Put the Brilliant Back Into BU The satin burnished finish is just notbrright for commemoratives People don't buy these for there bullion value, there is a numismatic value that is being cheapened with the satin burnished finish Commems should have a finish more like a proof, or proof like and I think that is keeping the value suppressed on all Commems with this finish It is not eye appealing or attractive and doesn't fit with the beautifulbrcommems minted in the past Comment from : Jan USAFlorida |

What about the small gold piece thats about the size of a mexican dos pesos ? Comment from : Jeff Keller |

Good morning Daniel, I look forward to watching your videos This is how I start my day it is 4am here! Of all the coins I have collected my favorite is 1868 3 cent silver trime pr 63 I had purchased from you I never get tired of looking at it To me it is a very special coin, unique, short run series, and most of all it has the most beautiful toning This will always be my number 1 coin! 😍 Thank You! 🙏 Comment from : Scott Yoshioka |

There's a us coin mini mint set and I wasn't sure if it was real or not? Comment from : jr p |
The main problem with the 3 cent silver is that they’re kind of boring They’re tiny, their design is simple, and they don’t say much for themselves Other than having one as a type coin I wouldn’t bother with them Comment from : Dixon Diaz |
They are some really cool coins Wasn't the 1 dollar gold coin smaller? Comment from : Robert Stroback |

I thought these we only made in copper-nickel Now I want one Comment from : Ryan Vanderhoff |
I have both the 1862 and the 1862/1 ngc graded AU condition The 1862 is only 393000 minted and the overdate variety they say had only a third of that minted With melting and coins lost and condition the numbers are smaller as Daniel inferred Love 3c silvers my favorite coin to collect There is a specialist in Boston who only sells 3cent pieces He charges about 15 over Pcgs price guide so yes pricey but if you want one you have to pay Thats how I bought the overdate I bought it at the ANA show in Chicago this year for about $350 Au55 with cobalt blue toning The overdate one that is Comment from : Doug Hensley |
It was due to the success of the Three Cent Nickel of 1865, and for the same reasons, that the Five Cent Nickel was introduced in 1866brbrBoth were minted alongside their silver counterparts for several years, the Three Cent Silver and Half Dime through 1872 for circulation and proof only for 1873 brbrHalf Dimes of some years also had some remarkably low mintages Comment from : -oiiio- |
PS I am collecting both of them and love them!!😊 Comment from : George Matthews |
