Eddie was in a clsss of his own "Summertime Blues", only plays for 1min n 40secs, but an inovative Rock music classic Than guitar chord prog 111 4 555 1 is the hook I realise he was only 20yrs old when he died, in a car accident, back in 1960 The classic RnR film "The Girl Can't Help It" was made in 1956, in which Eddie appeared in a cameo roll singing "Twenty Flight Rock" If made in 1956, Eddie was only a kid of 16yrs old What a talented kid His guitar technique influenced many budding guitarist ,-- Jimmy Page, Joe Brown, Pete Townsend, and lots more As with Buddy, Rock Music lost with Eddie parting a truely talented guitar innovator rip Eddie Cochran ❤

I give a lot of credit to Johnny Bond His interview with Eddied and the guys was both insightful and interesting Bond was as country as he could be but was genuinely interested in the young performer's views of what rock and roll music was all about He was never condescending and showed respect to Eddie and his views Johnny Bond was a treasure

This was the date of Buddy Holly's funeral, who ironically was one of Eddie's best friends He could not be there as he was on this show Before he starts to sing one of the songs ,he gazes up to the ceiling for a second or two, I wonder is he is praying or saying this is for you Buddy 🙏

Eddie was amazing how he could play his guitar with such ease That ease allowed him to put so much of his personality into his vocal delivery and his stage presence as a whole He's completely present as a performer He interacts with the other musicians, he reacts to the crowd, he looks like he's having a ball He's thoughtful and considerate of the other musicians He never looks worried about where his fingers are going or hitting a bum note and the licks he played were clever and like candy to the ears He was second to none He was the real deal!
