I plan to write this as I watch the video, but I must first contend your point on the super mutants You assume, that there are no social divisions among the super-mutants, however the game itself shows this by showing the divisions of super-mutants We can assume these are not merely different breeds of super-mutant, as they almost all universally share the same structure So, there is some form of hierarchy, and we must assume that those who are higher on said hierarchy, posses more goods from their raiding parties

A note from a connoisseur; the reason the Super Mutants don't bother ghouls is due to the fact that anyone who has been exposed to radiation from birth will die if exposed to FEV: they are incompatible This is why in Fallout 1, the Master's Army sought a lot of their humans from Vaults in order to ensure they'd become mutants

Actually, it is pretty obvious what fuel was used to power stuff in fallout The fuel running low that sparked the great war was fossil fuels, however, with oil becoming depleted (which is why America annexed Canada- Canada had the last of the oil), the worlds governments invested in atomics as an alternative power source Note that fission batteries are everywhere in fallout 3 It's also why, when you blow up a car (the corvega model, I think) in fallout 3, there's radiation left behind; because the engine is nuclear brbrThis is where they diverged from us; in real life, we invented the transistor (for computers), and proceeded from that point to where computers are part of everyday life In Fallout, they did not invent the transistor, and instead pursued atomics to the point that it became part of their everyday lifebrbrThat aside, this was very interesting
