Don't jump to conclusions The world is not running out of oil About 4 years ago there was so much oil there was no place to put it anymore They had to pay people to take it away Futures were down to minus 7 dollars Russia may sell some natural gas but its capacity to produce LNG is very limited It may sell oil above the cap price but it can't get insurance for it and major carriers with supertankers won't handle it Being shipped instead of piped oil and gas are much more expensive and take a long time The first time one of Russia's leaky rust bucket oil tankers springs a leak will be the end of Russia's oil shipping industry brbrYou can take this to the bank from an electrical engineer Electric cars based on lithium ion batteries are a very bad idea When they catch fire they can't be put out and they can catch fire at any time once one battery overheats even for a simple short circuit in a car the entire car will burn to the ground That goes for all of them including Tesla Replacing the batteries when their life is over or some of the cells are dead costs $8000 to $12,000 For ANY electric car, with any type of battery, the move the pollution and CO2 from the tailpipes of engines when they are running to the smokestacks of power plants when batteries are charging In China where 65 percent of electrical energy is generated by burning coal and 5 percent of energy generated is lost in heating wires and transformers they will not reduce CO2 and pollution, they might even increase it The electric power grids of most countries could not handle the added load of charging electric cars if the number of them increases substantially If you are in an electric car and the batteries catch fire you may only have seconds to get out because when the electrical system fails the doors won't unlock A bad idea brbrThe economies of many countries including Russia, China, and Europe are collapsing They are run by people who are incompetent, corrupt, and in the case of the United States treasonous as well

In 2008 a barrel of crude oil hit $147 and I remember paying $500 per gallon But diesel is now $450 with crude in the $80 range So what will happen if we hit $147 again? Diesel won't be $500 like last time it will be $600 or $700+ Diesel hitting 7+ bucks a gallon will break things
