Personally, I just bring a couple dozen packs of swim baits with me and don't worry about running out of any particular color! It's not a bad idea to ask ahead about the lake or river you are about to fish and find out what color they are partial to and bring extra with you Swim baits have got very cheap in the big sporting good outlets and on Ebay! Also pick up a bottle of spray scent to make the lure seem tasty to the fish and you won't have to worry about them being too shy about grabbing it!

its a tip for people wo might be new or would have not thought of iton there own or maybe a young kid i dont see why all you computer tough guys have to turn an easy trick someone took timeout of there day to show save the tough ignorant comments for a different page i think it was a good trick i myself have done for years as well keep making videos like this for the new people to the sport i think the people who have wise cracks should find a new page to harass who deserves it

@gottadutch That super glue will not be a fish deterrent For swimbaits, pros use super glue to fix the tears and get great results

@bassmasterclassic1 if you let it dry for a few mins its gonna b odourless silicone has a stronger smell than superglue after drying out

This is a great tip but it might leave a super glue smell in the water so I would spary some coffe scent from strike king

No, the glue seems to dry right up and not leave any smell If you're worried, you could always just add a little commercial scent to it, though Good luck!

Ive noticed that I get less bites if I use superglue to repair my soft plastics, but if you use a good fish attractant it helps cover up the scent

Soft plastic is cheap, and so are jigheads, why not just keep the softbait on the head? And if you really do want to remove it, you probably could with a knife and pliers But all in all, you'd probably ruin the softplastic, so I'd most likely just keep the the bait rigged
