Don't want to dispute what you say, but l checked the price of a similar grade on eBay There is an uncanny X-Men #266 in a cgc 94 for $145 SPAWN #1 in a 98 starting at $21, I doubt it's going to go for $5k in 2 days
Comment from : Kuldip Binning

Comment from : Lunar Module

Ronald_R_Lyon
That was great thanks I had an Australian Newsstand version of Amazing Spider-man # 361 I still Have Spawn #1, and I swapped a "What IF" comic with a friend for a Damaged New Mutants# 98 The cover was pretty bad but the rest was fine and it was way cooler than owing a "What If" comic about Captain America
Comment from : Ronald_R_Lyon

pcorey182
That's why I like original comic art super rare 1 of 1 I'm going to pay thousands of dollars I'd rather have a original piece of artwork published just saying
Comment from : pcorey182

Comment from : 1 of His Children

John R
This video is misleading Most key 90s books of any cultural significance are so overprinted, it's ridiculousbrbrThere aren't many Silver or Golden Age key issues that remain in any sort of conditionbrbrClaiming that slabbed comics from the most overproduced era are sound investments is so sillybrbrThe only reason someone wants to promote this tripe is because they own multiple copies of these books and they're trying to buff the perceived price
Comment from : John R

Matthew Corey
8,100,000 is that all five issues or just one book print run?
Comment from : Matthew Corey

CHARLES SCHAPERS
you can still grab raw gambit books dirt cheap I've been watching the bubble pop on many books the past 3 months and they will come down more just like cards did in the early 90's watch and see
Comment from : CHARLES SCHAPERS

CHARLES SCHAPERS
yeah nice stories but hey looks like these boats have sailed where are the books I can get at a low price now and watch them grow thanks for telling me the past gains but not helping right and these may just be inflated prices I can't think of how people are going to feel after spending thousands of dollars just to watch their investments drop
Comment from : CHARLES SCHAPERS

Eric Smith
I look for the blade comics from dark horse comics to rise as well
Comment from : Eric Smith

THE BANDIT THE BANDIT
I have 7 of the books in this list I don’t have the Mario bros The bone And the first appearance of hell boy I must admit I wasn’t a big hell boy fan I always Thought x or the mask would be bigger deals than hell boy Deadpool and spawn 1 were massive creations back in the 90s Also lobo should be in here
Comment from : THE BANDIT THE BANDIT

Craig Holland
Good video
Comment from : Craig Holland

Guy Williams
I don't even know why I'm going to bother watching this video, it's going to give me the heartburn I'm more than sure even before watching, that I had every comic book mentioned and ended up selling all of my comics in a big box for a hundred bucks back in the late 90s because I wanted to buy an ounce of pot
Comment from : Guy Williams

Jason Norman
I love the content and have four of these comics that have been well maintained but in bagsand boards Before today, I have not checked pricing since the old Wizard Magazine days The question is that, even if I get them officiall sealed and rated, where can I sell if I decide to do so? Certanly not my local comic shop in Montana, lol Thanks again for the content
Comment from : Jason Norman

woodyobi

Comment from : woodyobi

Ex8
The day they introduced grading into comics was the day comics died
Comment from : Ex8

Josh Reil
Curious how low of a grade folks would go on a graded book? The 98 premium is pretty hefty, would a 94/96 be a decent alternative (though clearly with not as high returns)?
Comment from : Josh Reil

Comment from : Hobby Hero

powerbad696
X-Men no-1 is often highly critized online for bad story telling and not so good artYeah,I know,Jim Lee's art is great and still holds up even todayAs far as critizise on Lee's bad story telling/panels,it's questionable,at least for meAnd everyone is a Lee hater of his art, which I really likeIt's become fashionable to bash his art, sort of like the hate against the Avatar film

jon coxe
Great video as always! I would like to add to the Harley Quinn part that you did that I think some of the biggest exposure and popularity boom that she got came from the Arkham franchise and particularly the first game There were people I know that never even heard of Batman that played that game and were cosplaying as Harley Quinn the next day 😜
