Really none of them are even close to the greatest "choke" i've ever seen It was the 1987 Masters where Greg Norman (with a lead) blew approach shots on the 18th green and Larry Mize holed out from 20 yards off the green Every fan, every sponsor, the PGA, and the National Earthworm Association were all set to watch Greg "don the green" It was one of many major chokes by Greg in his career

I was playing in a state amateur qualifying tournament in 1991 and I was playing well enough to qualify On a par 3 one of my playing partners said “That’s good pick it up” on my short tap in par putt I did and was penalized I missed qualifying for the big state tournament by one shot
