I work with chilsren as well, and of course you hype them up and act excited to hear what thry say, and i remember so vividly the first time i was in this kind of situation this kid was talking about some show he liked and the toys he had, i said it sounded fun and him being a kind little chind of course wanted to invite his teacher that he sees as a friend I didnt know what to say and was utterly terrified to respond, cause i cannot say idont want to, bit i had litterally no excuse i could come up with, thank god one of the seniors saved my ass but still

Im basically the only thing keeping the employees stable When we do the heart ritual i do "the thing" so i just bow down to the heart and the employees are either like 😂 or 😶 and i make the weirdest sounds

Im a drift car driver, the track where my Team headquarters are located is also a karting track It happens a lot that little kids Spot me and my teammate in our Overalls or working on our cars and theyre always the cutest They always act like im a hero, like im ayrton Senna in person when in reality im just a kid with an expensive hobby and an old nissan Kids always light up when i let them sit in the car Its adorable

I work at a ski resort and during the summer we have an alpine slide It was the very first guest to come down of the day he was about 8, I tell him” Ight now you have to grab your sled and exit the slide before the next person comes down” his response was to tell me he hates me …………… I just kinda walked away and let his mom crash in to him from behind……… not hard just a little bit

Once I was out eating with my roommates, a little girl came out of nowhere, sat down with us, and invited us to her birthday She was so sweet and decided to eat at our booth with us, her parents even bought us a dessert as a thank you for “babysitting”

Kids man they’re the best I have a lil nine year old girl in my life, and the things she says cracks me up The other day she told me she got called a Karen by a literal four year old on the school bus, and the funniest part was she goes “and I wasn’t even being a Karen!” I was like “oh my god, how do you even know what that means?!”

I was definitely someone worst work story at Build-A-Bear I was like eight, and I had been collecting coins from the laundry for months I saved up about $50 dollars in coins and dumped them all on the counter, I still remember the very annoyed look I got from the cashier And being a cashier now I completely understand But my mom told me that that would be the only way I could get a teddy bear from Build-A-Bear since she couldnt afford to buy me one

Kids are very pure hearted I work as a preschool teacher and at this point I have lost point of the amount of times that a toddler has invited me to their house, birthday party, vacation, etc brbrA couple weeks ago I had a kid tell me he was moving to Hawaii after the semester ends I gasp and say “Oh, I’ll miss you so much!” and he says “Well you can come with me if you want” After I say that I can’t, this four year old says that he’ll give me his phone number so that I could call him!
