Thanks for explaining the color choices throughout the process I've only been a graphite and charcoal artist, but was craving to work in color It is a whole new world for sure, but I am loving it despite being confused most of the time! These tutorials are really helpful!

Thank you I can't seem to find anything that truly teaches how to understand what an artists is doing or seeing as they go I wish to learn to paint but I struggle so heavily so badly Of course I can't draw either only simple things, even children do much better than I Saddens me that I struggle so heavily with the desire to learn to create beautiful things I see in my mind I just can't seem to find a way to put into the physical world :( But this had a couple things that helped me, thank you

Isn't it great that these videos don't just disappear in time! I've been taking painting classes for several years at a local senior center and for the life of me, my shadows look like big black balls and I couldn't understand why the table should be lighter regardless of the explanations from my teacher This was so clear and easy to figure out the whys and wherefores of what you were doing - by watching you do it I loved watching the color choices and blending process as well Very instructive Thank you This was very helpful I'll keep watching

Hello Will How do you stop the paint drying fast ? I try this and just get very thick background because the paint dried as I was applying it Do you use a slow drying medium instead of or as well as water

Sir, if i got it right, for any shadow you basically mix a bit of the subject's color with umber so if the apple was red I'd mix umber and a bit of red if that was eggplant I'd mix purple and umber is it right?
