Yes Because humans are the ONLY species on planet earth who depend on paper for survival If you think about it, it's very silly One time we visited the Amazonas in Brazil My cousin offered one of the villagers 200 Brazilian real (roughly $40), and he kind of looked at it funny and didn't accept it In essence, money is useless when you become self sufficient The soil should be your currency Learn how to farm/hunt and you can live without money

I recently graduated with a PhD in analytical chemistry and am making $85,000 a year I have $20,000 left in student loans that I am currently paying off I have a close friend that I went to undergraduate with that I have talked to regularly for the past 6 years We dated in the past, but are not currently dating I am currently single Her car broke down last month and she went and bought a new 2019 Nissan Altima (She took out a loan for roughly $25,000) While her car was broke down, she said she couldn’t drive to work, and has not been making money She dropped out of college and her student loans are currently in collections She asked me to lend her some money to help her out She wouldn’t give me a specified amount, but I was thinking roughly $1000 to get her through the month She said she’d pay me back in March She is a big emotional support to me (she helped me majorly through my last break up and was talking to me every day last month) and the money isn’t that big of a deal to me, whether she pays me back or not Should I help her?

I may just feel that it’s the last baby step going to everyone ahead of schedule brI have the my debts payed off, my $1000 saved up and my 3 to 6 months saved up on my baby steps brShould I keep a work IRA and put more than 15 into it ( Currently I put 35 into it ) or should I pay my mortgage off and put 15 into my IRA I have no other baby steps to cover My mortgage is being paid off at a rate of 15 years on a 30 fixed with the 35 going into my IRA Also should I switch to a Roth IRA instead of a plain IRA Please explain
