NEW OFFICERS ?????? am Dutch, WONDERING what is going on in The US??? IS IT NORMAL i only see criminal cops, violates peoples rights, illegally detain, arrest, ID, search people, cops even keep killing innocent people many times,,, thousand and thousand and thousand videos show up,,,, what i hear, in the USA it takes oiinly 9 months to be a cop, in my country it takes 3 yrs before you allowed to go on the streets (last yr police academy its all about law) I think Biden have to over look how to educate cops

I was a police officer in the east San Francisco bay area and later in la Mesa CA located in San Diego county CA Before that a Marine Corps military police I always told people you are in protective custody and asked if they would put hands behind their back At the station I would advise them they're also under arrest Just like I would want to be treated if I was in the same situation they're in At times with a armed robbery suspect it was at a higher level but de-escalate after in cuffs and in a patrol vehicle Police have difficult job

It does seem state police in my state are most likely to die in their first year when they die in the line of duty Perhaps it's because they don't have the experience in the first year to survive Another explanation is that those who don't have the survival senses or skills necessary get removed early on It might also be that rookies are sent the worst calls from dispatch on purpose or that something in the way they act as rookies makes criminals more brazen

She seems like her training officer has patience and it seems like she's getting trained well He seems like he's not being a cop that is showing her the right way on handling people especially who have mental issues That one cop in a video I watched was acting like a bully teasing the lady who had mental issues and she was in the bathroom with the door locked The cop was making stupid remarks about the woman, to me that cop shouldn't have that badge let alone a gun, but this cop seems to be on the right track as far as having a good cop that we need, maybe she should teach them other cops a lesson Also her training partner hopefully he stays that way too, and not follow them other idiot cops who think they're protected by that badge they're wearing She has common sense and is getting trained to do the job right! I wish her well and I hope she doesn't turn out to be one of those tyrant cops, she looks like she's on the right track!

Based on the hundreds of videos I have seen of police robbing, beating, illegally arresting and murdering people, using clubs, tear gas, rubber bullets and flash-bang grenades against unarmed women, children and old people, I would say the movies "Training Day" and "Serpico" (based on a true story) are pretty accurate descriptions of how the rotten barrel infects young 'apples' fresh from the tree with their corruption
