Using a RX5700XT here, and I am TORNNN I really want to upgrade to something that can at least do 1440p to 4k at 60FPS (with FSR or DLSS), but seems like nothing really gets there for the mid range And I'm not sure of Ray Tracing is worth it for those few titles

4070ti in my country is about 1100USD but in some store i can get it about 1000USD compare to RX 7900XT cause it doesnt available in my country if i want to get it, i have to order from amazon which the tax and shipping cose about 1000USD same as 4070ti which make it so hard to decide

Nvidia 4070ti is a joke, if you re going for that price range, get the 7900xt plus you get starfield, meanwhile Nvidia gives you 8gb less ram, overwatch 2 which is already free, and a slightly better RT performance but way less future-proofing, asides right now theres a massive AMD discount on the Sapphire Pulse 7900xt that you can get for about 650, and thats a killer deal, very happy with this card, i hope it lasts me some good 5-6 years before even considering a switch

Secondly, I have a 6950 XT and I'm getting hotspot temperatures of around 92-95ºC and global temps of 74-75 at 25ºC ambient temperature Just wanted to know if this is normal and I thought it was important info for some buyers split between the 4070 and the 6950XT brbrI´m not sure what temperatures on the 4070 look like, but if if lower power consumption translates into lower temperatures, it might be a deciding factor for some buyers living in hot countries!

After watching tons of videos like "best gpu for this price, that price blablabla" i've just thought "fuck it" and go grab a brand-new RX 7600 Steel Legend because "IT'S LOOK GOOD", simple at that, plug in my full white setup and couldn't be happier and don't need to worry about anything White + 3 fans + rgb + same 3060ti performance + Brand-new for 324$ is totally worth it for me

I just picked up the XFX Merc 319 rx6950xt for $870 CAD, including the Starfied Deluxe key that I was going to buy anyways This means the card really came down to $740 CAD which is by far the best value in the high end right now (but only if you care about Starfield)

One thing to think about are the 34" 1440p monitors For them 12GB is right now at the Edge and i would prefer a 16GB Card I have 49" Samsung G9 and my RX 6800XT had problems with Vram when i used the full monitor in Cyberpunk 2077 Nvidia gives you only the RTX 4090 as option The cheapest Option for this Monitor to run are the RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX So if you have an 21:9 1440p Monitor or plan to have one, you should buy an 16GB Card (and not the RTX 4060 or A770 they are to weak) And when you got an 32:9 Monster with 1440p you should buy 20GB and up And those Monitors are getting cheap realy fast, especially the 34" 21:9 Class with 100hz are at $350USD now 165hz costs around $400 USD For those only the RTX 3080, RTX 3090, RTX 4080, RTX 4090, RX6800 (XT), RX 7800XT, RX 7900 XT(X) are an Option for good performance I play a lot Picture by Picture on the G9, which makes one side a 34" 21:9 Monitor on the rest i can monitor Vram

My budget is up to 800 but I'd be more than happy to spend 500 if its still good value for the performance I've narrowed it down to 4070 ti, 7900 XT, 4070, 6800 XT I like the sound of less power usage and cooler temperature as well as the feature set on NVIDIA and I've been using NVIDIA my whole life, I'm used to their software etc, however I also like the sound of a Starfield Bundle that AMD offers and I'm worried about the 12GB VRAM limitation on NVIDIA If anyone would offer some advice, I'll be thankful

There are no NVIDIA Cards other than the 4090 to recommend here 7900XTX is a direct competitor to the 4080 and no $200 more is not worth a feature set price difference at any resolution The 6950x over clocked kills the 4070 and so does the 7900xt vs the 4070ti low vram POS card

Cyberpunks ray tracing is specifically made with Nvidia technologies in mind, so it is by far the worst game to compare AMD and Nvidia in a test; the game is the problem, not AMD since that is not fair
