But how do bond issuer pay interest amount to them when they ask loan they don't have money so they ask loan and how they pay to them only interest and after maturity time How will profit is it sure ?

If you’re getting $40 per year and the maturity date is 10 years, you’ll make $400 total but that’s less than $1000 which was the amount that you originally “loaned” I don’t really get how you would make a bond like that if your getting less than what you initially loan unless you just had that example for simplicity’s sake?I’m really new to this, can you explain that? Also, is there a minimum and maximum for a face value?
