Great video! My daughter says I'm an escapee from a hippie commune because I make everything, including laundry detergent and underarm deodorant I'm 73 and have taken a heck of a ribbing for my eccentric ways over the years, but my new dermatologist was blown away by my healthy complexion I make my own skin care products, and he asked if I'd share my recipes, so perhaps he could convince his wife to try them Eliminating harmful chemicals in my daily life has been my mission for decades, and it's really paying off in my old age Comment from : Kathryn Cooper |

Thank you for sharing these extremely helpful ideas, and in such a light and peaceful way I started out with minimalism when I moved and I couldn't bring my furniture and all of my "stuff" I realized that it was the best thing that ever happened Life in a non-cluttered, open space soothes me and allows me to truly rest when I am home Although I live in a big city, I hope to move to the country where I will be able to enjoy beautiful, quiet nature around me, for free! Comment from : Ellen Thompson |
I'm surprised to see you use pre-prepared hummus as it costs multiple times as much ($3-$5 versus 85 cents) and comes in a plastic container Making it from dried chickpeas is a very easy simple process and takes only a minute or two after the chickpeas are soaked and cooked Personally I'd be soaking and cooking a batch of chickpeas each week anyway Something to consider maybe? I agree and I also do my best to be mindful and be frugal, where I can brBut it gets overwhelming because everything costs too much and we might do one thing better but the way our society is, there's always something we can't do better and it is disheartening I get anxiety over it sometimes and I all but give up brWhere do you think all that metal goes? It's not biodegradable I think about all the homeless kids scrounging around dumps and could step on a razor Smh brI think glass and ceramics are about the best material we could use brI hate plastic and metal has a bad taste and I fear that it also leeches so I won't use either brI'm disabled so I can't really do much for myself, and I can't really eat solid foods so I drink my nutrients but I can't mash up food by hand and I'm too poor to buy equipment So I have to buy already make nutrient drinks which are expensive and usually in a plastic bottle, 😒, which I'll pour into a glass just because brThis is our society, it's all but impossible unless you're rich to do right, everything is expensive and even worse when it's a special item for disabled ppl Why? Why does everything disabled ppl need have to be outrageous? OH, CAPITOLISM, that's why brWanting to do better as a human on this planet is not enough Because of money We all hate the rat race but if given the opportunity, we'd do worse for more money too Smh brKudos to you and anybody that is able, but as for most of us, it's not possible to do better Comment from : RoninMcKay |
Love you’re channel amazing! Thanks for sharing your tips Comment from : Claudia Orozco |

There was just a programme done on farmers markets in Canada I believe I think it was 60 minutes brThey were talking to buyers and sellers and reporting on how much stuff at farmers markets is not grown by the sellers and some is not what they are claiming to be They are buying from others and selling it as their own, many were lying about it just to make a sale… beware Comment from : A Butterfly |
