I actually appreciate how a lot of your rhetoric may be interpreted as life advice It seems like the mindset of someone who buys gold is very similar to that of someone who is simply working on bettering themselves and the lives of those around them

Since i am in my late 30s and i've accumulated little above 20 ounces i think that i am really on track since i am not living in US! I am from eastern Europe and although life here is somewhat expensive and salaries here are quite low, i think that my end goal is somewhere around 40- 50 ounces before i get (if God gives) 75 yo brI think that 40-50 ounces are very good for retirement plan here in my country for 10 15 yearsbrOnly i hope that Gold with retain it's positions as value storing asset, and not be "worthless" as money equivalent in 40 50 years!

I still stick to my monthly purchases Been buying a few things that are really out of character for me like 2g bars Been looking for sales, and getting that dopamine hit when I place a $280-$300 order (#freeshipping) for higher premium stuff I still do my 1oz AU per month and about 20oz-100oz silver per month, but the fractional stuff is a head scratcher as to why I do it br$2300 per ounce gold through gram bars is not efficient AT ALL, but I like the drug-like dopamine I get by placing 1-2 supplemental orders in addition to my normal routine I'm pretty sure gold will go over $2300 Heck, I'm pretty sure it will go over $2700, so I know I'll get my money back+ on these slower vehiclesbrbrMaybe I'm just nuts I'm OK with that :-)

I was going to hold back but just been offered a mix of 1/4 oz coins at near spot so had a search down the back of the sofa and found some loose change, so they will be in the stack by the middle of the week Still have five 2023 1oz coins to get in the next few months, but spot price and the high premiums are going to bring me out in rash, and I haven't even started cutting down those Stinging Nettles in the back garden!!

I have gone for a modified DCA approach I do buy monthly but only if today's price is lower than last month's , due to the cyclical nature of assets In months I don't invest in Gold I spend the money on a more favourable investment This strategy has worked for me with over 25oz gold and a well balanced portfolio of assets, at any time some go up and some down

Good video but a few suggestionsbrbr1) Most people don't have even $500-$1,000 of ANY savings, nevermind saving hundreds of dollars every month brbrI would recommend people start out with Silver, often called "Poor Man's Gold" at first and later transition into Gold brbr2) Make a separate savings account for precious metals and buy larger pieces when you have sufficient money because fractional sizes have substantially higher premiums The premiums on a tenth or quarter ounce could be double or even triple the premiums on a full one ounce, five, or ten ounce If you go this way, you need to promise your that you won't use this money for anything other than precious metals brbr3 I recommend "try" having some extra cash available for "dips" or "great deals" but not going into debt in order to so brbr4) I recommend you try to develop a relationship with a local coin or bullion dealer and "try" to buy from that same person IF possible IF that person gives you a good rate with the hope that over time that rate will remain the same or even possibly decrease That's not possible with online companies Additionally if you have a good relationship with a coin or bullion dealer, that person may notify when there are deal to be hadbrbr5) Take special care how you store you precious metals Metals aren't insured in safe deposit boxes and most home owners insurance companies will not insure non-numismatic coins, meaning bullion or non-graded coinsbrbr6) Make a spreadsheet of your purchases so you know your costs and Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) (and back it up)

I will buy more gold at $1900 to $1950, because I think that will be the new dips for a while I was buying some higher premium gold, when it was in the $1850 range Now, I will buy the lowest premium gold 1 oz gold coins I can get - no bars though Since a lot of silver is mined as a by-product of other mining, I feel it's easier to ramp up silver production than gold So, I will sit out silver until it gets down to $21 There are my two cents
