I've watched BB UK, Australia, US, and Canada and by far BB Canada is the best! They always keep it interesting My only issue is not being able to watch the current season 😢

I caught BBCan 2 when it was airing years ago I’m from the US so it was a HUGE pain in the ass since there was no straightforward legal way to watch outside of Canada (this was before I was aware of VPNs) I was absolutely hooked and from what I remember it was so good and entertaining through and through Tons of fun characters and memorable moments I’d recommend starting there if anyone is interested

1 thing I like about BBCan is that when an expulsion happens it's considered an eviction and some alliances don't lose 2 players in 1 week They start the week over USA did Chima's expulsion different than Justin Scott and Willie Even Mike bragged in 14 2 for 1 in the same week

BBCAN 2,4,5,6,& 9 are some of my favourite seasons of Big Brother PERIOD And honestly of the last 10 years of BBUS seasons, the only ones I can say I’ve enjoyed as much as any of those Canadian seasons would be 14 & 20

honestly as someone who started out mainly as a fan of bbuk, bbcan really is the best of both worlds like the casts feel so much more like the uk ones in the best way, they're fun but also messy and ready to cause drama, while us casts can be kinda bland imo

As a big brother USA fan for like 20 years I will tell you that I just started watching Big Brother Canada like a year ago watch all the episodes and emphatically will tell you that Big Brother Canada is way better than big brother USA for one main reason they always seem to find a way to save someone that's on the block by a secret door or some type of secret test USA big brother don't do that

Last season of BBCAN was one of my fave (including US) of all time The game play was unreal, Kiefer was an absolute joy, and some of the things he pulled off were legendary BBUS has honestly gotten kinda stale lately-watching the committee and the cookout just roll through everyone made it boring and predictable week after week

Another difference: BBCAN tends to do BB2 rules at least 1x per season in an instant eviction where HOH nominated and NO VETO just straight to the vote We haven’t seen this occur in the US since the introduction of the Veto back in BB3

you should have added the fact that the show was put on hiatus/cancelled after season 5, viewers complained and started a petition that brought the show back, thanks for this video on our version of Big Brother tho, as a BB fan, I think Canada's BB is a way more edgier version of it over the US version, Marsha the Moose is missed tho, she was done by Comedian and producer Trevor Boris, and hasnt been in much since the first 5 seasons

Out of the North American BB franchises (Mexico, USA & Canada), only Mexico followed the standard international BB format in all seasons aired there, while Canada's English and Quebec-based Celebrity franchises have followed the US format Canada remains superior to the US because CBS has let the show remain attractive but look very stale while Global has given us a competitive still wanky format for years brbrAlso, Canada allows for more open-ended casting than what the US allowed until they switched casting companies for BB23 (for those who did not know BBUSA and BBCAN were cast by the same company until 2021)brbrCBS needs to dump Grodner ASAP BBUSA needs a major production revamp, and even a bigger lot for the house, I've said for years and I will continue on that hill until the day it happens

Aside from bbcan4, I can't recall hating the overall experience from any Canada season The casts are usually very fun and dynamic, and even if some players are sometimes boring from a tv pov or aren't playing good at all, they're rarely toxic to one another and generally Something I can't say for the US Just look at the current celeb season and how miserable the house is No one to root for as players or as people

I think the biggest difference between the US and Canada versions is WHY they do the twists and challenges In the US, it's to mess with the game In Canada, it is to mess with the houseguests That's why Canadian seasons are so much more enjoyable to watch even if it was already spoiled
