I called my bank today to see what they say has I have rrsp’s mutual funds Has I though the CDIC does not protect mutual funds but does protect GIC up to 100000$ There are steps in place to prevent bank from failing in place and banks are more secure in Canada Will keep an eye on the news and so one and as soon as I am not sure, will change to GIC’s
