for any fellow players in 2022, here’s a tip: complete the entire level as mini mario in order to grab the last star coin (overall much easier in my opinion because he can jump higher; just wait until the last green block falls) HOWEVER, make sure you have a mega mushroom equipped in your item box in order to defeat the boss one stomp and he’s done

just a tip for the boss: get that giant mushroom thingy before hand and use it to defeat it, trust me (in fact you can use this for basically all of them)

Ok so Here’s how to REALLY do it (been trying to beat it since May 2020, beat it april 2021)br**You need to practice jumping by pressing the right arrow and “A” button at the same time, this is KEY for beating itbr**You need to have fire power, yes it may be easier in mini mode, but fire power is needed for beating the boss, also have a fire power in your bank because I guarantee you will need it when fighting the bossbr1 Be on the 2-3rd block from the right when it starts to drop Do not be moving at all, Mario needs to be completely still and just drop with the very last blockbr2 When you hear the star coin sound, immediately press the right arrow and A, you’ll be jumping off a block but this will get you to the platformbr3 Pause the game and breathe before you fight the bossbr4 Jump on the boss 3 times to beat him, use fire power to get rid the spikey dudes he throws, and go in!!!!

If you use the blue mushroom to make Mario small, he’ll jump higher and slower - it helps with the last coin Get the blue mushroom from W1-4 and finish the level with tiny Mario but keep a fire flower in your pocket thing so you can beat the boss

A word to the wise: don’t follow this video for the 3rd coin To get it with the least amount of trial and error, you’re going to want to run up to the gray platform, wall jump off it’s side, wall jump off the falling green blocks, and if you have enough kinetic energy and luck you should hopefully be able to land back on the gray blocks with the third coin It’ll take a few attempts, but the technique shown in the video will take many dozens of attempts Also, I recommend you get the first and second coin and kill the boss before attempting the third coin If you keep trying to get all 3 in one go, the stress of losing all 3 repeatedly will build up and it’ll make this much more difficult

@Wallnuts23 try it with mini mario Pause at 1:57 get on the green square at the front and jump when the last green square falls, but after you got the coin Make sure you're mini mario with a flower in the item section so after you get the star coin you can change to a fire ball shooter (sorry, I explained it the best way I can)
