I would have thought Star Ocean: Till End of Time and Kingdom Hearts II would be worth more than that! They're classics and really popular and Star Ocean 3 is RARE! I've seen it in shops twice in over 30 years, that's how rare it is! And yeah, Gran Turismo is a pretty easy game to find, on PS2 anyway, not so much on PS3, not that that bothers me all that much I'm not as fond of 5 and 6 as I am 3 and 4!

I had a copy of Obscure The Aftermath with Gamestop stickers placed directly on the case art, was able to successfully remove it with some Goo Gone and Rubbing Alcohol, but it was a SLOW project, you gotta be careful But as long as it's the glossy original case art, and not someone's at-home project, you can use Goo Gone on it and the oil won't bleed through it But if you tear the art at all, or pull off the glossy layer, it will bleed through, so go slow and steady, be gentle with that sticker and it'll come out beautiful

Please DO NOT spin around discs while they are in their holders in the case You never know whether there is a grain of sand or whatever underneath the disc If you spin it, you will end up tracing a nice circular scratch!

Not gonna lie the ps2 is the worst console to collect for, just in terms of heaps of greatest hits games (as box, art and disk are silver in the pal regon) and just the fact that a lot of the games are in just poor condition and you have to be careful A couple games i've gotten have either been destroyed boxes or destroyed disks Like you said where do people store their games

I guess the grimy situation with the PS2 comes from 3 factors:br- it was wildly successful so you have a lot of little kids with cheeto fingers all the way to careless adults with ashtrays handling these;br- from the slim version onwards it was very "portable" in the sense that people would be taking their consoles (and games) with them to a friend's house, to parties, to college dorms, etc so a lot of handling there as well;br- the dvd case is simply less grime resistant than cd jewel cases it's very easy for the inside part of the front cover to be exposed, both from the film coming off at the corners to the hole behind the clips inside that hold the manual

The PlayStation®2 was, and still is very good at handling EXTREMELY beat up discs I have a PS2 game called "Herdy Gerdy"(which is my only physical copy of a game) that I found in Dad's 90's french DVD collection, with the box but no manual, and the disc is extremely beat up, extremely scratched, but it works fine, and without slow loading times
