I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for Comment from : soja kia |

I'm a graphic artist My platter hard drives fail after5-8 years SSD drives are designed to last 20-30 years In this video they're refurbishing the old drives with the short life span Since it's ridiculous to buy a hard drive with one year odlife left on it, all I can say is buyer beware Comment from : Miklos Legrady |

Being in IT myself, this was scary as $hit to watch Banking institutions sending their old hard drives to be repurposed LOL! brjust counting on a company wiping a drive the right way and reselling it to be reused on ebay is the absolute scariest thing I could imagine Counting on some so called company to "get rid of information" and sell it on ebay Wow There's no such thing as a refurbished clean hard drive After its life the only way to recycle a hard drive is to burn it, drill it, and put a few shot gun shells threw it There is no such thing as a safely refurbished hard drive PERIOD! Comment from : Occasional Dose of Ordinary |

The company I work for makes these kinds of recycling plants for plastics (like bottles and packaging) and the process is very very similar, but on a much larger scale I can tell you that business is booming right now, lots of new players entering the recycling business, many backed by governmentsbrThere are still many problems though, especially in poorer countries outside Europe or NA, with recycling Firstly it uses a lot of water and a lot of chemicals to clean the plastics, and that water needs to be treated before it can go back into the system This is done very well in Europe with loads of regulations, but outside it's a lot less of a priority Same goes for workers' safety and working conditions It's getting better, but still not ideal brRecycling is cool and all, but remember, Reduce and Reuse are way more important Comment from : Rivox |

We need to make recycling more transparent You should look at how airpods are recycled because I'm very doubtful any TWS product is recycled properly if at all There's a reason why Apple refuses to let people know how airpods are recycled, because they likely can't be recycled, a dnwill likely be the next major disposal and environmental issue given their sales numbers along with every other tws product on the market with micro lithium ion batteries Comment from : Ubacow |
|
I think a correction needs to be made, in basically all laptops the cpu is integrated into the motherboard, same as the gpu So those parts cannot be reused seperately, if you want to replace either one, you need to replace all of them cus its all the same partbrbrDrive reuseing is a valiant effort but its not very efficient or viable A drive has a limited number of times it can write or rewrite data, so at some point you will just run out of usable storage on a set drive Comment from : Jeremi Domagała |
|
You lost me at "feminine power" Comment from : Alexandru Ionescu |
