schutztruppe 1900
how big is the actual image on the celestron 60mm? On my barska 20-60 spotting scope I can see the rings of saturn very clearly but no color Jupiter looks great and with faint colors but not like in this video The image is about 5mm with very clear moons
Comment from : schutztruppe 1900

Chemtrails all over the sky, and you never find them?

Comment from : Drew Thompson

Jonathan Scotford
Hi, do you know today's equivalent to the celestron 60mm refractor F10? I'm not sure this one exists to buy anymore
Comment from : Jonathan Scotford

pillargauss
Appreciate for sharing these amazing reviews Are there any under £100 can see the Saturn and the ring clear enough?
Comment from : pillargauss

Cristian Negrea
I had the Celestron FirstScope, absolute garbage, like in this video I was really impressed by my next one, a Meade 60mm/800, from Toys for Us, haha
Comment from : Cristian Negrea

Dinos Workshop

Comment from : Prince of Narnia

Kevin Ashley
Hello Rory I would like to suggest a video topic I know that you tend to focus on budget friendly astro gear Could you do a similar telescope comparison but upt the limit to $500? Or whatever that translates to in pounds My monetary exchange rate knowledge is a bit weak But for some, once we get past the cheap, it would be nice to have some options for mid-tier astro gear We all know that top tier equipment is easily in the thousands It would be greatly appreciated
Comment from : Kevin Ashley

Kay
Did you collimate any of the Newtonians?
Comment from : Kay

Maria Maria
Sorry I didn't understand which is the first one that you show at the very beginning? 🙏

Someday I'll come to UK, and my first priority would be meeting with you 😅
Comment from : No_Mercy

Mark MacDonald
Love Astrobiscuit! Getting me stoked for my third foray into Astronomy Started out with a 35" Meade Newtonian when I was a kid Had a 10" in my 30's, and now I'm going to finally go for an AP setup! Only trouble is that no matter how I slice the numbers it's at least a $3K "investment" for what I want with all the computer stuff Currently leaning towards a RC 51 & ZWO ASI183MC (wide field & solar), with a tracking scope/cam on either a AVX or HEQ5, and trying pick some sort of f/10 scope (100mm refractor or SC like a 6SE, for planetary/galactic targets)
Comment from : Mark MacDonald

Space Chaser
I have seen Cloud belts on Jupiter with a Celestron travel scope 70 at opposition
Comment from : Space Chaser

Merlin’s Mountain
Wish I'd watched this before I lashed out 250 of my Earth pounds on a celestron starsense 127 lt, all the non-fun of Bird Jones on the most wobbly mount since I don't know what On the plus side it taught me to lash out rather more on my next scope 😎
Comment from : Merlin’s Mountain

Charles
Nerds are cool 😎
Comment from : Charles

Dylan Greene
I've owned a Celestron Firstscope for years At £89 they really aren't worth it But occasionally they can be found at £49 Which is far easier to swallow Their biggest issue is collimation, or a lack of adjustment How it comes out of the box is as good as it gets So send it back if poorly collimated brI must have gotten lucky, as I can see Jupiter's bands and 4 moons though minebrThe eyepieces supplied are a mixed bag The Huygens 20mm is not bad for it's extreme budgetness The Ramsden 4mm though is not good I swapped it out for a budget 65mm Possl from Orbinar which is much better Though you can tell that the telescope is at its limit and the eyepiece has more to give
Comment from : Dylan Greene

walterg74
Which was the other scope you mention at the beginning that is now more expensive?
Comment from : walterg74

Comment from : Eric Fidone

Fatal_Inertia
I had an Astromaster 70LT from Walmart for 60 bucks, and for the money that is probably the best scope in the sub $100 category

Rachael Pleace
Hi people! I'm hoping maybe somebody could throw some knowledge at me about what extra lenses/scopes I should get I just bought an Orion Sky Scanner, but I'm sending back because I ordered the 80mm Celestron that Biscuit was talking about in the vid So, I got an 8-24mm zoom lens and a 32mm when I ordered this Orion and I'm hoping I can get some input on if I should keep these lenses, or trade them in for something that might work better with the new scope, and also if 2xs or 3xs Barlow would be better Any advice would be so incredibly appreciated
Comment from : Rachael Pleace

Lidell Aleice
Man, I just discovered your channel and I can only say I am completely enthralled by your way of presenting things

9:01 hey biscuit and bunny, I have an odd question I recently bought an astromaster lt70 My question is, an I able to rotate the finderscope bracket and rotate it? The angle is a little awkward for my liking It it's something I need to get used to I will, just trying to make things a little easier Thank you for the consideration

Chevy Riding
Bro come on Galileo's telescope seen all kinds of planets 400 years ago we should be able to buy a scope under 100 just as good today I love astronomy but not enough to spend thousands of dollars cause I'll probably only use it a couple times lol
Comment from : Chevy Riding

Alex Leroux
How do you get that much resolution when looking at Jupiter with a really thin telescope? I have a 45” aperture on my telescope and when looking at Jupiter I can only get it to look like a white ball

Andy Jones
Just need to point out a few things: most junglists are absolute nerds If someone can tell you the catalogue number of a record off the first bar, they're a nerd (self included) 2nd, I bought the 70 for the weight more than anything, plan to take it wildcamping with me 3rd, I should've watched this before buying owt I think 4th, subbed 5th, good tune choice if I'm honest
Comment from : Andy Jones

Motorman Skog
what, with my 1000 mm f78 newtonian telescope with 10 mm eye piece and a 2 x Barlow, Jupiter is stil like a star, but now I can see the moons as smaler stars how can you view Jupiter like that?
Comment from : Motorman Skog

I have had both the 80mm Skywatcher and the Celestron Firstscope (from several years ago) I love the 80mm Skywatcher The Celestron Firstscope was for my daughter who was 10 at the time, and I admit I rarely looked in it
Comment from : Charles Baetsen

RAVEN
Anyone got an idea about the Bresser Skylux 70/700mm? It would be my first but I can't decide between the Skylux and the one recommended here (powerseeker 60az) I don't have any real knowledge about telescopes but a real passion for astronomy so I don't want a kids telescope, but I know I have to start somewhere
Comment from : RAVEN

Michael Köhl
Did you collimate it? I get fantastic results with my first scope from celestron I own several scopes (c8 c9 c11 c14 askar etc) and I have to say price performance wise the 100 dollar first scope is superior to all the ones listed above It came very bad out of the box but after a run with collimator it works very very well
Comment from : Michael Köhl

Gregory
I'm convinced What's the difference between the two 60az and the 70az? The 70 looks to have more magnification Can i trust that this would be the same quality or slightly better?
