I've actually swept, inspected and cleaned that fireplace in that room I didn't get to meet Gill unfortunately, I guess it was his manager that I met and I was not impressed by her at all as she was rude, hateful, and instructed us that if we saw Gill we were not to even look at him I was always a fan but she spoiled that a little that day, kind of felt like she was representation of him and since she was his manager she basically was I wouldn't have bothered the man even though I was a big fan of him growing up as was my father was also, but to tell me not to even look at him if he came around was a little ridiculous Anyway, despite that experience I'm still grateful for the man and his music, his songs were a comfort to me after I lost my father in a car accident when I was 14 Dad liked his music and had several albums, those memories are still cherished today

I participated in the Kerrville Folk (now Music) festival for 15 years and it's like this everywhere you look 24 hours a day for weeks If you like this, you should go The ones who show up to play on stage get a chance to jam with the talent in the campgrounds And vice-versa! A lot of talent, lot of heart and spirit to be found if you like songs and guitars Look it up and go get you some down-home music love
