I don't understand somethingbrbrI started watching a lot of videos about compressors, because I was looking to pick up a smaller, portable unit that I could take with me in the truck when I travel to go work on my Dad's house Watching these videos was the first time I ever heard people telling me that I can't dosomething that I have done more than oncebrbrYou see, my "big" compressor that I don't want to lug around on the road is only a 20 gallon, 48 CFM Campbell Hausfeld And I swear to you, before I upgraded to my current 20V orbital sander, I used a pneumatic orbital sander with that thing all the time I completely sanded down TWO vehicles for paint, using that 20 gallon compressor and DeWalt pneumatic orbital brbrNow, granted, the first one was a Jeep CJ But the second one was my RAM 1500 Mega Cab The second one is a HUGE vehicle And I did not have any problems with the motor providing me plenty of air from beginning to endbrbrIt is confusing Why does EVERYONE on the internet seem to believe that you cannot do that job with that compressor? Comment from : Kennedy McGovern |

sorry to say but my experience with campbell hausfeld is the more bad, horrendous and totally unreliable air compressor brand we have ever had cost a fortune vs the Chinese counter part and the worse and more upset part of this is that we depend on our cheap small chinese compressors to keep moving our business, as our CH compressor break down constantly, on constant repairs, no warranty or company back up there product, always excuses and blames back and has cost an arm and a leg!!! stay away from CH compressors as for the video absolutely great, well explain, well produce, nice and clear, great job Comment from : Prime Engineering |

Don’t care what this guy has to say, he is getting paid Here is what you need to know, if you plan on using a DA sander to to body work or use a Sand blasting cabinet, your Compressor needs to put out at least 15cfm I also recently learned that a Ingersol rand Compressor makes their stuff in India and China and slap Proudly Assembled in the USA You get what you pay for Make sure the components are not made in 3rd world countries Comment from : ZE_GERMAN |

60 gallon is to much for just the average guy I been getting by on 15 gallons 20 years impact and air ratchets , tires and air gun Body and paint yes you need a big tank but what kills me is the 165 psi or 200 psi Unless you own a semi shop and fix trucks for a living, we used 120 psi in the shop with 100 gallon tank 2 stage Jims compressor it keep up with 10 guys all using air tools Comment from : JCcanU |
I want to paint my motorcycle what kind of air compressor I need? Comment from : Hey Boss |
To run a air sander without having to wait for the compressor you would need a 1000 cfm compressor, as in 99 of the cases the cfm is referred to the air intake not outlet, and the inlet is at atmospheric pressure, the outlet is 7-10 bar Comment from : Francesco |
A couple things First, your washer doesn't use 220V, it's your dryer, lol! Anyway, you didn't go into 1-stage vs 2-stage, especially the part that everyone leaves out, that, all things like HP and tank size being equal, a single stage compressor delivers more volume than a 2-stage Lower pressure but higher volume Also, if you're worried about bothering the neighbors with the noise of your compressor, lol, how about the noise of the air tools you're running with it anyway?? No compressor is as loud as an air chisel on a large panel!! Comment from : Andork Kuomo |
good video my brother Comment from : the doberman gang |

thanks for the video, I’m confused but how do you make sure that the tools we already have (or want to buy more tools) that they are/will be “SCFM” ?? I went to CH’s website and looked at their “air tools” and never saw SCFM listed in their specs sheet for the tools so where can we buy SCFM tools - i wanna replace the only 2 tools that i have with SCFM tools Do we google SCFM tools and it will list the brands that carry/make them ? I’d like to buy all matching brand air tools Sorry, but YES i am a noob Please help me understand Comment from : Jesse |

I'm after the smallest, quietest option that can handle spray painting, airbrushing and cleaning If it can handle nailing and stapling that's good too, but otherwise I already have tools for grinding, cutting and drilling For spray painting I'm happy to use either HVLP or LVLP Comment from : Ian |
