This is a really cool project I have been wanting to do for a long time However, it seems that since I possess none of the tools or materials I need to do it, that by the time I spent the moneyI can just find a ring to buy The torch and regulators alone will cost close to $200 Add to it the materials for the bezel, backing sheet, oxy/fuel tanks and of course I want to make a man’s ring So I would have to find a solution for that I’m sure that by the time I made the investment I can just find a ring online Especially since I would most likely screw up the first one or two Still, you do very nice work If you were not across the pond I would find out what you would charge to make one for me

Hi Dave, thanks for the tutorials - they are great I need to make a few custom cufflink sets using sixpence and threepence i want to be able to see the back of the coin and i was wondering the best way to achieve this? Do i need to use bearer wire, or could i solder strip bezel 2mm high by 3 or 4 thick soldered onto a base plate which i can cut out a circle so i can see the back of the coin? any reason you used step bezel here instead of just a flat bezel wire? what is the best thickness and height to use if i use bezel wire? I would be using 14kt gold (set1) and 18kt gold (set2) , soldered to a silver back plate and silver cufflink findingsbrbrThanks Barrine
