I obtained about half a roll of Britannia's for similar purposes Time will tell if it was a good idea or not, but I like the idea of having a few differing sizes handy before I go full bore with the 1 ounces

Eh you can always cut your bars down to sell or trade With the money you saved buy a roller to flatten your oz bar, now you can cut it into 5-10 grams I'd take lower premiums

Smaller fractional is the way to go if your in it for hard times Those that buy large bars of gold and silver will have limited buyers Say you need a small amount of gold or silver to buy something and you have nothing but big bars What are you going to do? Shave off what you need from a big bar? Not practical

You're money they're beautiful coins I had a chance to get 20 2021 1/4 oz Australian wildlife gold coins for 9,660 sadly I didn't have the money at the time and the coins are no longer on sale because gold has gone up in the past few weeks

i prefer 1/4 as i can still see the details my eyes are too reading the dates on 1/10s 😅 but yeah, if the premium is fairly low/or i can find them on sale, i buy 1/4s but i do buy full ounces too

Yes and no more yes but still no premiums are out of control and most likely we will never see them back It's still gold and its easier to take small amounts to cover emergencies that being said I pick 1oz right now because of premium

I know a lot of other YouTube personalities say the premium on 1/10 ounce gold is too high In my experience you not only have a larger pool of people to sell to you get a higher premium back when you do sell I think you did good!
