Ok so I pretty much got everything but one thing, (I’m not even sure if I’m gonna get a reply but there’s no shame in trying)I’ve just passed the 17 and a half age so if I get my CBT at 17 can I get my A1 like right after or do I have to wait 2 years?
Comment from : Milkmydudes

Sushil Sarki

kye haigh
So I’m 22 no license wanting to get a full license but don’t know where to start should I wait till 24 to do direct access or should I just do the a2 license and get a 400cc ?
Comment from : kye haigh

oojimmyflip
I passed my A test in 1992 back in the days before the CBT, now I get it that its a safety thing, but how the hell are you supposed to get any road experience on a 125cc bike if you have to pass the CBT first before you ever ride the bike on the road? it all seems a little counter intuative to me and Im talking about pursuing your category A license after the age of 24 having had no motorcycle experience whatsoever before that age
Comment from : oojimmyflip

Sheep Clipss

Great info - shame it has made riding such an expensive long winded saga - when you think a 17 year old can drive a car which can be more dangerous to it's passengers and other road users

Comment from : Kacper Kozanowski

Jammy Git
I did my mod 1 & 2 about 10 years ago although I don't really agree with the direct access test where young and inexperienced riders gain access to big powerful motorbikesbrIt's true that there's no substitute for experience, and there's something to be said about paying your dues on the road for a couple of years on a 125cc or something before being able to ride death machines 👍
Comment from : Jammy Git
