This is a great video my son is the same way and I find it adorable He’s very loving when he want to be and loves remotes and buttons Im taking him to get assessed just for my peace of mind He’s only 17 months but don’t really talk he loves making a “roar” sound He’s the best!

My 13 month does all of these things Loves the remote and pulling cords, loves to spin, does not answer to his name, rarely plays with toys just like to walk/run back and forth, doesn’t listen to basic commands like “come to mommy” or “can mommy have the block?” No diagnosis but we have seen early childhood intervention for an eval and they agree he could use some help with communication and cognitive It honestly hurts sometimes bc i see all the other moms play with their kids and mine won’t even look at my sometimes i feel invisible to him

I have a 2 year old son and have been showing these behaviours very similar when I come in frm work he doesn't acknowledge me that I'm here,he doesn't say dada r mamaHe says his ABCs and can show U numbers like frm 1-30but I'm really worried about his speech delay

Just found your channel & so glad I did! We just started our journey with my developmentally delayed daughter She’s 14m old and has almost every single one of these signs She does show a tad more “typical” affection than Liam does here, but only when SHE wants to lol Otherwise it’s a tantrum if we initiate the affection & She too has the oral fixation, hardcore I’m not able to really show or teach her anything bc it all goes straight to her mouth to be chewed on She loves carrying around random objects (right now it’s lotion bottles) and will walk and walk and walk all around the house with it I recognized all these signs at about 11-12m because my nephew is autistic, so I made an appt with a neurologist who prescribed Speech, OT & ABA which we start next Tuesday! brbrNow I’m going to go continue binge watching your videos lol 😆❤️

My 19 month old son acts very similar to your son He doesn’t have all of the symptoms but definitely most of them I definitely need to get him checked out He’s currently in speech therapy but I feel like I need to take it a step further Thanks for the video ❤️

You mentioned in this video that he tenses his body I am very curious what, if any, information or knowledge you have with this self soothing behavior My daughter was diagnosed with infantile gratification which I call tensing, but the neurologist, her doc and the internet does not seem to have much information at all :-( any help or information or direction would be sooooo appreciated!! Crawling adds sensory input and pressure brbrI’ve got four boys Two are my bio kids and both are autistic They are high-functioning- one higher functioning than the other We adopted two One is NT - I got him when he was six The fourth son is also ASD We adopted him at birth I cut his cord What were the odds??? brbrWhen he started making eye contact I thought, “Oh… maybe THAT’S what the ped meant when they asked if the other boys were making eye contact Actually, Josh’s eye contact was also abnormal… he made INTENSE eye contact… almost daring me to look away Lol brbrBy the way, I used to wonder if my 15YO would be independent as an adult Over the past year I’ve put that to rest He’ll be fine He’s got a job this summer, working for a guy who has known him for a few years We bought our son’s horse from him, and both the horse and this job (he’s a groom) have been invaluable He will be very independent and he’ll be successful

This my 20 month old completely He also has a baby sister that is 5 months old and doesn’t ever acknowledge her at all, which makes me so sad because I thought they would be best friends My son hasn’t been evaluated yet but I am in the process of getting it set up
